Quick tip for that annoying "stuck fader automation" problem, delete the automation clip then right click the fader knob in the mixer and select "delete initial value" and that should get rid of that issue.

I really hate signing up for anything any more... Long annoying process just to use it once. Honestly cakewalk could be so great... If they did 3 simple things, Piano, Acoustic guitar, Electric guitar... No way this is accident, What are the excuses?
