Thank you! You kick a&$! One of the best how to tutorials ever! I messed around trying to remove the dam lenses on my Oakley Spikes and just about gave up. Watch this video and did just like video and boom! They came right off. And putting on new once was the same. Boom! Easily placed in frame. Awesome!
I look at the comments & all I think about is a guy walking up to a pilot that is “walking” away from a plane he just crash-landed & saying he did it wrong…😆 That being said; I own a pair of Flak Jackets (over 10 years old) & the inboard edge tabs are smaller & therefore easier to take out first & insert last… The nose pads however are the big shortcoming for me; they’re always coming loose & getting lost… I’ve even resorted to glueing them in place w/silicone adhesive when I’m running out of spares… 💩Crappie design 👎 Otherwise I love em😎
I loved these lenses for almost a month until I jumped in a pool and the chlorine made the blue wipe right off with my fingers. Should mention that on your website. Just sayin
This video was a lifesaver. I was struggling but your tip at the very end gave me an idea. Since I knew I was gonna wash them off after man handling them, instead of using a hair dryer, I just ran the frames under slightly hot tap water to warm them up and make them easier to manipulate and the new lenses popped right in. Science!
Excellent lenses. The colors really pop and they fit just like the original oakley lenses.
