Currently in Game Dev. The work is incredibly intense, but it's been fun and I've been taking advantage of the networking opportunities as well. Overall, I say its working out for my but, like with all things(education especially), that's just me and I could see how FSU could be too much for some people.
Did you take any of the credit by examination tests to test out of classes from your master's degree program? If so, how intense were the exams? I can't seem to find any information/feedback from anyone that may have taken them.
You not working in sports marketing has nothing to do with the school, IMO. 🤷🏾♂️ Apply for some sports marketing jobs bro. Easy solution. And your masters doesn’t sound like a double down on the bachelor degree so I’m gonna put the accountability back on you. I don’t blame the school for you not knowing what you really wanted to do. Cuz that’s what this sounds like… You sound like you expected to be handed a position. What was your final gpa?
I received a subscription to Stately Men as a gift from a family member. What started out as a positive experience quickly turned into a nightmare. The gift was to be 4 boxes of clothing. The clothing was fine. I went back onto the website to cancel after I received the 4 boxes. This is not an easy thing to do. You have to jump through all kinds of hoops before you finally get the goofy guy waving bye-bye. Boxes kept coming. I kept cancelling. I called my daughter-in-law and she cancelled. Another box came. I called the company as soon as I received the email that another box was coming. It still arrived. Turns out they accidently signed us up for 4 subscriptions rather than the intended 4 boxes. Stately Men has a ZERO REFUND POLICY that is not easily noted on their website, if at all. There is NO REFUND EVER, even in the case of an honest mistake. I would never recommend this company to anybody, unless of course you have lots of money to throw around. Absolutely horrid customer service, and I know I did everything correctly. The friendly girl I spoke with several times used the exact same sentences over and over, no matter what I asked, I'm sure they were memorized. I had no idea there were 4 subscriptions. Why wasn't that information made available on the website when I cancelled the first time. I would have cancelled all of them at that point.
This is so fucking stupid man we should be suing the shit out of this company for selling such a stupid product im so frustrated i spent so much money on this shit to break on me like that ?
My honest question is the tuition and the “debt” I just spoke with financial aid today and the numbers that they just told me really kind of defeated me wanting to go to school. And it just more so I know that nothing in life is guaranteed specifically careers or having a job opportunity but I really just need help reflecting on if I should continue pursuing.
Yeah the tuition is not cheap and will put you in debt but for me it comes down to do I believe in my self do I believe I’ll make something out of it and I’ll always bet on my self and success has happened.
why don't you say what program were in. cuz i got a brand new m3 MacBook pro for film id hardly call that skimpy. as someone who uses mac windows and Linux. and doesn't use any other apple products
I’m 1 year self taught in 3d animation and want a professional polish on my skills . I’m signed up for FS with a start date march 4th . In the final stages of admission. Really hoping it’ll be good for me
Ive been doing research on thos school for more than 5 years. Got accepted last year but decided against it bc i was scared to onvest myself jn the school, still not sure if i should join
I have 2 degrees from Full sail And going back for number 3, Full sail is cheaper the. The last 2 universities I went to UCLA and Harvard, 2 months after I graduated film, I have a job with a big studio to produce and Direct movies, full sail is the only university I know that gives you all the equipment that helps you succeed.
This "company" is trash... PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY. If you were to purchase a subscription there is NO way you can review the clothing before they pick it for you. If you get items you don't like tough s*** because you own it now. Best I can do is a different size. No refunds...ever. The clothes are not first-rate from companies you have never heard of and expect 3 sizes too small. When I complained about the inability to return the clothes to the rep in the chat, they sent me a copy of the return policy. A good example of their great customer service. Your company is different than every other online clothing company I've worked with and you DO NOT let it be known upfront. Burying it in the legalese is dishonest at best.
I mean I knew all these things up front sounds like you just ordered before you did you research. As I do think this company has some flaws that they have tried to fix. But your complains sounds like you just went on there an ordered before checking what your ordering.
@LaneVision at Full sail university they give you a macbook pro that payed by your tuition! They refuse to give me mine because I should of reported it missing within 30 days!
I am currently debating going for my BA in cybersecurity. However, I am concerned about balancing full time with the workload. About how many hours per week did you dedicate to school? I will be 100% online.
I will say for me I did maybe 1-3 hours every day I tried to squeeze in a little time every day but that was me. Do what you have to and get it done if you really want something you will make the time I did this with a full time job kids and everything else going on in life. Don’t let it hold you back
As an online student I found you need to make sure you got about 40 hours a week for assignments. And you won't have your weekends to do what you want. I graduated back in 2022
Definitely depends on your skill set when you enter the program. I've spent t as little as 90min to 40hrs in a week. I'm in the DCBP. Just finished my first year.
I really appreciate you sharing your experience. I'm about to start the GD program in two weeks and I was looking for someone who could share an honest review about their experience as a student. I will give it my all to have a killer portfolio since I work full time and an opportunity of a hight paying internship is slim for me.
Thank you so much for this I truly appreciated it . I’m going to go to full sail … just am concerned about the finances and actually going to the school on campus other than that thank youv
So they start classes all the time on a weird schedule that allows them to constantly get new students to start classes (and pay tuition) every single month. They offer degrees in every possible thing. They constantly add new curriculum. It's insanely overpriced. Y'all, these are all the hallmarks of a scam university. These are all the same thing all the private scam universities did before they got shut down.
Wait your title is vey misleading… you say Full Sail scammed you twice, but in the video you talk positive about full sail and talk down about another school. Not school to manipulate people to get views…. That’s shady.
If you are thinking of going to Full Sail University, PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE! it's totally a waste of time and money, I graduated from there in 2017 and still haven't worked in the field of which I got my degree and neither has any of my friends that have graduated from there as well. It's a total scam and honestly not worth the hype that comes with the name. If you attend Full Sail all you will be paying for is literally just a paper diploma nothing more!!! If you are looking for a career this is not the school to go to. This school just monetizes and profits off of you and your passions and newsflash you do not need a degree to pursue your passion!
Nice! This just convinced me more to go to. Are the really flexible as they say they are? I am currently working and they told me that I would be able to focus on my current career first.
Hi ...i mean this in the nicest way {from my pure kind soul}, i dont think its very smart to start your video that way especially when you are sharing your opinion about college. Makes it look like your looking for click bait; makes me want to move on to another who is serious... you seem like a very calm human being, but i believe if ,,,(because we are social creatures by nature) if we encourage one another the results would be incred., your voice was low btw so even if i was curious to find out if they "scammed" you , i wont believe you!!
I get what you're saying, unfortunately, to get any real views without an established fan base this is what you have to do. I mean even with a following this is what you have to do to get real views these days and you the people, not you specifically but the general public watching anything from youtube to tv want drama want something like this which is why reality tv is still so big (the drama). Now there are tons of people out there who have posted on how they "think" full sail scammed them with real negative reviews and it prevents a lot of people from going because that's what people really wanna see the bad things. So to get people to watch a real honest review I have to create a title that will get people to watch. I use to hate clickbait when I first joined youtube but I now see this really works as it has almost 4x the number of views than the full sail videos without "clickbait". Marketing
I have many students who have attended and had an amazing experience. You can't be lazy and you need to be willing to schedule your life around the course. Full Sail is maybe one of the most accommodating schools my students have attended. I'm thinking their is more to this than meets the eye. I am also a veteran and have had students who deployed, with no issues. It's very possible that this guy didn't follow the procedures of withdrawing. I'm a veteran as well, so I support this guy on that level, but you have to do your'e part. What is the point of this video?
