@@Dexxter_slav Hi, thank you for your comment. The abbreviated name Czechia has been recognised as the official and equivalent name of our country since 2016. Consequently, it is officially used at the UN and in the EU. However, the Commission for the Unified Presentation of the Czech Republic Abroad established the Czechia variant as the preferred one only last year. The motivation behind this decision is to unify practices with other European countries, most of which use a shortened version of their names, as well as to make it more natural to use in everyday communication 🙌.
I'm standing now between studying in Czechia, Germany or Austria, and the decision is hella complicated! I've moved out from Ukraine to Germany 6 years ago and I'm thinking that this country isn't just my thing, although there is a lot of opportunities here, especially for wannabe engineers! Austria is the same, but a bit smaller, and with mountains and overall higher life standart and there is also... Czechia. I don't know so much about its universities for now but this country is just... IDK It's basically Ukraine but in the EU 😂😂 I love Czech, I want to learn it and I WILL one day and I also have lots of friends there. Aaah, decisions, decisions... 😅
Hi! Decisions, decisions :D Let us tell you why studying in Czechia is a smart choice: if you study in the Czech language at a public university, your studies are free of charge. You have many technical and prestigious universities to choose from (portal.studyin.cz/en/find-your-institution/). Of over 54,000 international students enrolled at Czech universities, 11 % are from Ukraine; the community is big. Curious about learning more about the advantages and universities of Czechia? Feel free to reach out to us at info@studyin.cz. Cheers! Sandra
@Deniz-rk6h5 Hi, thank you for your comment. We would say that it depends on the field you´ll want to study after finishing the course, your dedication, the proximity of your native language, etc. Many factors affect your Czech language learning journey, but it is not impossible to learn the language for your university studies - many students have done it this way. Czech universities offer many language courses to prepare international students for their studies in Czech: portal.studyin.cz/en/find-your-study-programme/language-courses/20240122135425-RYn?fspToken=Owp1UewoEe096dOGByTCE. If you need any advise or tips for learning the language, you can always contact us at info@studyin.cz. Cheers! Sandra
