Collegiate Shag is a high-energy swing dance that started in the 1920s and became incredibly popularity in the late 1930s. It was common among a large spectrum of American youth, not just the college kids, as the name would suggest. Despite its popularity during the swing era, Collegiate Shag is still fairly obscure today... but we are trying to change that. You need to buy a pair of suede soles, most probably at a shop with ballroom dance shoes, and glue the soles onto the soles of your shoes if you are capable of doing that well enough. If you aren't, you need to find someone who can do that for you, e.g.a local shoemaker/cobbler.

Very nice! Not to be weird......but what kind of undershirts do you use? I like to square dance and.....let's say the guys like to twirl a girl like she's a crank on a projector! I have been using homemade shorts....but yours looks like they are more comfy.
Most of them are vintage actually! I did used to have a good pair from Modcloth, they called them bike shorts but I'm not sure if they sell them anymore.
This year summer 2023 I watched many squirrels in a tree upside down biting branches off a flower tree where they ate the flower then dropped the branch and leaf and the fall of branch was pinwheeling and so pretty as they fell in a close simultaneously drop. .squirrels are adorable.,as well as as natures friendly pest to humans..

Ah, see, this is where that vintage love becomes off putting to me. War planes? I get liking clothing and dancing from past times, so do I, but this one I don't get at all. Granted, I'm German, so obviously love for the 40s in particular is super stranger to me. But like, you guys were at war too. It wasn't at your home, and sure, it's certainly the most justifiable war in recent history (from your perspective). But I feel like bombing cities isn't a fun vintage aesthetic, even if these cities contained some Nazis.
