Hello Stephen. I wanted to leave a comment on your short concerning the vent noise in your Ram 1500 but there’s no option there. I also have a 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie and I’m having the EXACT same issue. I’ve noticed that when I turn the heat on, the noise goes away. My truck is in the body shop for minor repairs and when I get it back, I’m taking it in for service. Do you have any idea of what’s causing that noise?
Hi Brian. Yes. Found out it was the Recirculation door wasn’t sealing when closed (on). The tech came with me on a test drive dismantled the glove box while I was going 70 miles an hour on the highway and just with the slightest pressure on the door when it was closed, the sun will go away, so using the crossbar that’s in the dashboard he was able to create with some hard foam, just enough pressure on the door and I have not now had the issue for several months
@@Mitch_1971 Thanks Stephen. Yep, the service tech at my dealership finally figured out the issue. They replaced the distribution housing seal. At first, they resealed my windshield and then replaced the cowl which of course didn’t help.
