So Jim Basile (the correct spelling of his name, by the way) says the band's sound is rock and roll with a fusion influence, what he means is they are trying to sound like Santana.
Just on important instrument missing here, which added a truly unique sound to most of their greatest hits, a real SAX. Great show, but where the hell was the sax ? RIP: Denny , if you're gonna perform for GOD don't forget to get a sax player ! Thanks, Classics IV for all the great music !!!!
Dennis and I were so happy to have Breezin' as his band for that show and to have Wally Eaton original bass player and co founder with Dennis of The Classics IV) and his beautiful wife Darlene attend the show! Dennis was so proud to be in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame! One of his BEST DAYS EVER!!! Thank you to Steve Guettler is still a valued friend and excellent musician and best of all a classy, honest to goodness gentleman!!!

Linda Yost His music is in my iPhone library and I play him regularly. His music takes me back to my high school and college years and I love it as much today as I did then. What a unique voice he had. RIP Dennis Yost.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! The item strapped onto my leg is called the Schlagwerk Sizzle Board....kindof my hi hat simulation. Just a thin wood block hollowed out with rice or something of that nature inside. I think it really adds to the jam rhythms. X8 drums is where I bought mine, but Amazon has it available too.
That's the great thing about electronic drums! No heads to replace...I'm actually hitting the pads very gently! Hooking directly into the sound system allows you to have a powerful, awesome sounding drumset without messing with mics. I did use a real hihat, a real ride cymbal, and one real crash and mic'd those with an SM57...never liked electronic hihat or ride...until now with Roland TD15. The rest of the kit is Yamaha pads going thru DM5 sound module....very easy to transport/setup.
Thank you very much Stefan for your kind words! Im glad you enjoyed it. Hope to make some more vides soon. Its really fun jamming w/my friends and so easy to carry around. Good luck on your Cajon choice and please post some videos when you have a JAM! My main reason for buying this cajon was the option to turn snares on/off w/your foot. Happy New Year to you and all of Canada!
I managed this club in 1982 and these guys were so good I couldn't let them go! They because my house band and this band absolutely rocked the house night after night. They probably were the best band in Atlanta that year. STRIKER FOREVER FAB!
