Research in the Nanomaterials Group (NMG) is focused on the fundamental and applied aspects of synthesis, characterization, and application of carbon nanomaterials (graphene, nanotubes, nanodiamond and nanoporous carbons) and 2D transition metal carbides and nitrides (MXenes). NMG develops and studies new nanomaterials and works closely with industry with the goal to significantly decrease the time from discovery to commercial application of new materials.
I need your suggestions. I am using HF, HCl and DI water soln. as etchant but after etching process, the weight of sample obtained is higher than that of initial? What could be possible reason??
Did you measure weight of completely dry sample? such as vacuum filtered film, vacuum oven annealed powder, freeze dried sample, drying in desiccator, etc.? If you measuring the weight of a slurry or sample dried not entirely there is water still trapped between MXene flakes that is not possible to get rid of entirely after concentration, this is what could give you extra weight.
Very interesting and valuable research for human being by AJD Nano Institute and Prof. Yuri Sir team. Its inspirational to us always..Heartiest congratulations to all AJD Nano Institute and Prof. Yuri Sir team
This material is a liquid and is on this fabric, so notice that he is wearing gloves which means it is probably toxic to your body, so you will be blocking one hazard from your body while subjecting it to another hazard which might give you cancer. The 4-D's (Damned-if-you-Do Damned-if-you-Don't)
Does this MXene coated material block off electromagnetic waves in the ELF range? I’d like to see a demonstration if that’s possible. Humanity is in trouble
Hello. Can you explain me why there are no papers about MXenes at cellular frequencies? As you show it is working absorbing EM waves at these frequencies too, but I cant find any data on this. Your link refers to 8 to 13GHZ analysis.
if the phone was disconnected from the network thanks to the fabric, the call should land directly on the voicemail and not present tones... don't you agree?
The only problem I have with this video is, When you call a Cellular phone and if it's out of reach OR Airplane mode OR turned off, the "calling phone" does not sound a "Ringing" tone. Not even a Lead box does not block the signal. and if there is such a fabric I don't think it will be available for the general public in this "surveillance society".
hello, I would like to test this product. Do you have a link for the purchase. The frequencies covered by the description from 8 to 12 GHz are not those used in telephony.
It's a paid web-based 5 days course. The course is held twice a year. Next session should be in 4 to 5 months. The information for registration will be available prior to the next session at nano.materials.drexel.edu. In order to access lectures registration is required.
Thank you very much , we need it for civil population, not only for targeted individuals and victims of torture with the use of emitting directed energy weapons. They use high tech DEW just for eating people alive and screaming dirty things in the head using V2K. Dear Sirs, how can I buy it?
Damn, I am interested on how this can be made into a clothing line for Targeted Individuals. I saw your demonstration on how it can block the frequency going to a iPhone. This stuff is needed immediately for people who are getting targeted with sonic weapons from the MIC.
Are these ready for wearing on the human body??? Also, this needs to be designed in the bedroom so people can sleep and not get DARPA downloads. Clothes, bedsheets, hats, gloves, even shoes. A whole assembly line of this stuff needs to be produced if this stuff is real. Also, paint and roofing materials need to be made of this stuff.
MXene fabrics shown within the video is produced by dip-coating, however more sophisticated patterns are easily achieved by applying MXene as paint. This material is hydrophilic which allows it to be a perfect fit for conductive and shielding applications without any extra solvents and binders applied.
In the article doi.org/10.1016/j.carbon.2020.12.021 samples were tested within the range of 8 to 12 GHz which is Super High Radio Frequency range (SHF)
Depends on the number of dips. Very low - exact numbers are in the CARBON journal paper: www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0008622320311982
@@vladerikkhranovskyy5537 I would worry more more about air pearmability and oxidation. They may have tested in ambient conditions but they haven't thrown it into a washing machine and it would most certainly have to be air dried. If you cover it in sealed plastic might as well use copper tape.
MXene coated fabrics is stable while multiple washing cycles ( doi.org/10.1002/adfm.201905015 ). Low concentration MXene solutions are indeed unstable in air. However, since fabrics need to be well infiltrated to exhibit shielding behaviour. Therefore dipping solution is usually of high concentration to reduce number of dip-coating cycles (approx 15 to 20 mg/mL) which increases oxidation stability.
