I lived in Incline Village and King's Beach from 1984 to 1990 and my job required me to travel around the lake daily. It was the most beautiful and sometimes magical time of my life through Winter snowstorms and sparkling Summer days that felt like they would never end. (: Thank You Lake Tahoe

Thank you -- very informative. General question: Why do all these presentations always have to have added sounds (peculiar "tuneless music" and other odd/strange sounds that one wouldn't hear in a day-to-day setting). None of it really makes any sense and is arguably disruptive to anyone tying to listen to what the narrator is discussing. It's akin to attending a lecture and the professor has someone playing "tuneless music" and other odd sounds that come and go seemingly at will. It truly is all quite odd.

if that scale of landslide happened again, all those richie rich lagoon mansions; GONE...the Casino strip: GONE... lower Truckee: GONE... even in the penthouse suite of the mont bleu hotel... the 300 ft high tsunami is going to top that by at least 150ft: GONE

I hope we halt future development around the lake and just leave it as a place to camp and hike. It’s ok if we don’t live right on the lake’s edge but just enjoy it for a little while and then go home somewhere else

Last summer there were two bear cubs and their mother swimming at the beach by Camp Rich. They got too close so a 5' human mother of two scared them away with her impression of a Maori Warrior. That night the trio tried to get into our bear locker but left empty pawed while we took pictures.

All species affect both climate and other species, but we humans do it a lot more than most species
@oldrabidus2230
@oldrabidus2230 28 дней назад
@@blockvfive1196 You are always forced to think why we are bad. Have you ever given any thought (preferably equally) how much our planet and the many animals/plants that benefit form our existence? If you funded the scientific community with equal money to the alarmists you will find a completely and different perspective (and equally correct).
@blockvfive1196
@blockvfive1196 28 дней назад
@@oldrabidus2230 we do both good and bad, and it has hard to quantize our affect on nature and the future of nature, as do other species, it is important to know how we negatively affect our climate so we can work to improve our living environment, after all its not like we can just live on another planet. that wont happen for a thousand years
@oldrabidus2230
@oldrabidus2230 28 дней назад
@@blockvfive1196 being responsible? Yes. The cause for Earth’s present state? Not even close. You are falling for WEF propaganda. Western civilization is being destroyed while the real polluters of the world are allowed free rein. Why? How do you build an empire? Manufacturing goods, endorse unity. How do you destroy a nation? Limit productive output, let in hordes of military aged men who will shoot you in the face for a job and a loaf of bread.

Total nonsense. The earth is constantly evolving. We have very little ability to change it. A big enough earthquake comes along can destroy it all, so what some people who they are playing God think is the balance of nature is totally pulling this information out of the rectum parts of our country were underwater And parts now are above sea level and this can change at any time and we will have nothing to say about it. All of this ringing of hands is ways of manipulating people, so that those at the top stay in control wake up we are not god, and God will prove to us That he is
