I be trying to understand this non destructive chopping vs pad parameter chop. But now watching your video I understand it a little but not the real intention of of
The site is a big pile of garbage where you can't find anything... Arturia hasn't updated the minifuse 2 drivers for years... It's all a load of crap... Never again buy Arturia.
I had them both. Kept the Stage 3 and replaced the Kronos 2 with a Kurzweil PC4-7 and NEVER looked back. If plastic is a concern go for the K2700 and the upcoming K2061 & K2088.
Sounds are not so impressive. I have played Jupiter80 and it’s an amazing sounding keyboard why Roland didn’t use that sounds in Fantom. Sounds are very dry.
I dont now what Roland did to this keyboard. Technical perfect But the Sounds😢😢 Techo no Problem But sounds like Brass , Sax, Trumps, .....Very Bad!. Most of them with a very ugly (customizable by keyscale) arpeggio effect on the Mod. Wheel. I will keep my Roland FA and My Roland Fantom G ans My MODX plus. Sounds like a Casio from 1995
I can't keep taking my bass station on the road. I'm looking for a mobile set up like this. What iPad program is that ? I was just gonna use garage band or whatever is free on my iPad . Just need a good bass sub synth sound. Any recommendations? How does is connect to DI for the house signal ?
I'm sure you can find a good sub bass in Garage band. Or make one using the included synths. Audio out depends on your setup but generally an audio interface connected to your iPad would give you the outputs you need.
Hi I couldn't find anyone addressing the issue I'm having with my Push 2 so here I am When browsing, the menus/columns of anything (instruments, FX, plugins, samples, etc) don't pop right automatically as they were doing before, now I have two buttons illuminated with arrows (< >) on the far right for scroll right or left, where before I had the upload option/button
ima former church musician who trynna debate witch one I played on the modx + and the montage before I can't debate I want something that I can carry around with out being heavy I was looking at the modx 71
Now I need to know how to stop the notes from being stuck when I’m playing. If I’m just playing bass lines or chords they get stuck and hungover now. Do you have any advice that could help me with this?🙏🏽😇🎼
Hello how are you? I have the same controller, everything works perfectly but it doesn't show the red box, and I see that it does for you, do I have to configure something additional or activate it somewhere? Thank you
0:28 After you go into part mode by pressing the part button, if you press those buttons (1-16), you are NOT changing scenes, you are changing parts. In order to change scenes, you have to repress the scene button and then those buttons (1-16) will change the scenes. While in "part mode" the buttons (1-5) activate the first 5 parts on your keyboard. In other words, when you press buttons (6-10) you will be able to hear the first 5 parts (buttons 1-5) played on your keyboard. Kind of like a keyboard activate for those first 5 parts and a mute button for the keyboard. So, if you had "local control" set to off in settings and were using an external midi keyboard controller there would be no need to activate the parts through the Jupiter by pressing buttons (6-10) because the external controller would trigger them. To clarify for new Jupiter users, "parts" are simply 4 different instruments (chosen by first pressing the part button & then buttons 1-5), chosen from 4 different models (after pressing model button and choosing your sound, then press part again to return to the instrument and its selected part), and also a Rythm section (button 5) Roland aways has to confuse the crap out of their users.
@@SoundsAndGear I kept searching and found this: The Yamaha FM Converter allows you to use content from the DX7, DX7II, TX802 and TX216/816 on your new Montage or MODX to expand the possibilities.
fuck. so badly explained. to be honest, everyone explains it badly. haven't found a single video where you can use your machine like a midi keyboard for various vst instruments in reaper. actually the easiest thing ever. in sonar it took me 1 minute and everything was set up (midi in and out on host and lets go). In sonar I opened a machine instance and it controlled every vsti track I wanted (like a normal midi keyboard). in reaper you have to assign tons of outputs and groups to tons of tracks etc. that has nothing to do with a normal midi keyboard workstyle. don't make it so complicated and show me how to turn my machine into a normal midi keyboard without having to make a thousand settings beforehand. disgusting. In short, I only want to use my machine as a controller (like a keyboard) and open my instruments in reaper and not in the machine instance.
To me the difference sonically is very noticeable. Everything just sound brighter on the system 8. I will definitely run in thru some analog Tube hardware
Great video! I just bought a V3 Sound Midi Module, but found out I need an Ipad to control it properly. I dont have heaps of budget so Im just gonna send the midi module back for a refund and get me an Ipad. What Ipad should I get? Dont have the money to buy the newest Pro... My limit is probably Ipad 10th gen. But would mind buying a refurbed one for a bit cheaper. Any advice?
I've watched so many tutorials & have given up in frustration. This is the first one that's making sense! Thanks, man, you've stopped my brain from exploding.
Has anyone tried this with an mpc live 2? I’m away on a few trips soon and will be a while between charges. And I am well aware the live 2 has an internal battery. I just want to prolong it. Many thanks.
St. Joe! First video i’ve seen of yours brother, I’ll be using mine with my Moog Mavis + Roland SE-02 combo (these two are insanely good together! I wish I had the breakout box for the SE-02) I’m very excited
