I’m a house healer & alternative life coach. House healing uses practical spiritual techniques such a meditation and dowsing to help people who suffer from geopathic stress. Geopathic stress is a collection of detrimental influences from the environment caused by electromagnetic fields from the earth, water & other sources. Exactly RJ. The closer we get collectively to living in alignment with the I AM spark that is within each and everyone of us, we will see, hear, sense, know and be acutely conscious of the reality that this IS our true Self, then we will be very clear that every soul is the One . There is no other as we collectively have been programmed to believe. The spiritually realized Mahatmas have said to us - Here is God. Here is God. Here is God. I was clearly shown - “There is no you. There is no Me. There is only God living, expressing and experiencing Its Self through all of these life forms of which we each are. We are all thought forms in the Divine’s Being. 😊❤

He was a great and humble man. Just to be clear, I think "studied" is a bit strong a word for our relationship but I learned a heck of a lot from him. They were tremendous days.

Great interview with RJ! The quote below is deeply profound. “The self is not the source of thought, but rather thought is the source of the self. That may seem paradoxical to our ordinary experience. The assumption of the self creates an image of the self and is attributed reality. Thought is an ethereal, almost non-existent thing. Thought runs you. Thought, however, gives false info that you are running it, that you are the one who controls it. Whereas actually thought is the one which controls each one of us. In Nature nothing remains constant. Everything is in a perpetual state of transformation, motion, and change.” ― David Bohm
Trauma/shocks/losses have similar effects for many. Suicidal feelings, grief & frustration of wanting to help but couldn't, are also common. I too, had many losses with the same feelings "back then". I know better now that if it was supposed to be different, it would've been. Those experiences can shake up & change everything in a person's life & how it affects them. It created a new spiritual path for me as well. That is not just RJ's experience.
If you feel inclined you might also like to google some of James Hilman's work on RU-vid. He's passed now but he was a psycologist who had interesting theories about how a child's behaviour and life views reflect those of the adult they become, despite having no knowledge whatseover of a path of growing up. Basically, the acorn has no understanding that it will grow into an amazing oak tree.
What he says about "I AM" and free will is spot on, there is indeed a higher Self that can be recognized, and free will / the personal self is transcended. This is somewhat easily achieved through self inquiry, Ramana Maharshi style, and there is even mention of it in the Bible. However, in Buddhism one goes further to clarify the nature of even this higher Self. We see that, like everything, it is empty (this has a specific meaning in Buddhism). We see that everything, INCLUDING the higher self, is beyond existence and non-existence. This is what is called anatta or the no-self realization.
Amrit, aren't you lucky to have have found an emotionally intelligent counselor, so many are more wounded then those seeking help,hard to find in the us. Everyone has a piece of paper that doesn't mean anything. 🎉🎉love to all
From my personal experiences of Awakening to the I Am, about 10 years ago, (although I had no clue at the time, that that was what was happening) it was demonstrated to me directly that there is no free will as RJ says. I had several unusual experiences which forced me to question my beliefs about reality. I never eat ice cream and yet I unconsciously bought 6 tubs, 1 litre each. Before long I felt myself being literally frog marched to the freezer and downing an entire litre of ice cream. I repeated that ritual until there was none left, over 2 days. Anyway, the light bulb went on by the end of the 6th tub of ice cream. There is no free will and I am not my body. Why ice cream? Because I worked as a natural medicine practitioner and ice cream is anathema to my philosophy about what constitutes good health.
I often wonder if you people are just special and different! I lost my dog 2 months ago and the grief is horrendous! I've never felt so desperate! I'd like to get you the other side of this feeling! Meditation helps but I wish I could just see his face one more time ❤
Sorry to hear about your loss. I don't think the grief is any less but it certainly helps to know 100% that those that leave us are continuing their journeys and experience of the conscious cosmos.
You are in GRIEF and it's understandable and normal but allow those feelings! Did you hear RJ talk about his intense feelings after losses? Be kind to yourself in your grief--it HURTS! Sending hugs...

Thanks for being such an excellent facilitator of valuable content Tim. We're living through such challenging times and every contribution that supports expansion cannot be overstated. I journeyed through the darkness of depression for decades, and was invested in conspiracy territory for slightly less, but have been fortunate enough to grow beyond limitations inherent in each. Being an individuated expression of something far greater makes complete sense to me in response to relentless searching. And every single one of us had valid part to play in a greater revealing. It can make for quite a trip accepting however.
Yes indeed its the accepting and really allowing the understanding of that 'being of something far greater than self' that is the crux of it all :) But the self still has a hugely important role in it all. :)
Another very interesting interview, Tim, thank you. I was pleased that Amrit mentioned people seeking out the shamanic brew in far away places, a sort of quick fix consciousness tourism. Shamanic wisdom and experience can't be absorbed in a one-off drug induced trance state, but we humans have a gaping hole inside of us that cries out to be filled - we ultimately seek connection with the creative source of the universe. This need is why Amrit experienced his work gradually going down the spirituality route more and more, as it's at heart of everything. (and your work too, Tim, is evolving along similar lines btw.) As we grow, our work and thinking take on new perspectives, our experiencing changes. But if we bring (phase 2 I think) too much desire to control our journey and outcomes to the game, and are not prepared to allow life's timing to unfold, our ego led quest will lead to a dead-end. As Amrit said so well, life eventually happens to us (and I would like to add, all of it, the bad bits too, we need to experience all sorts of energies) and then ultimately we become part of the flow of the universe. It helped me to be reminded that these phases are like a spectrum, we might be here one day, there another. I love the way he's able to take wisdom from different traditions and his quote from Ghandi about dirty feet in the mind, that will stick with me. Even if something is true, if it brings me down, I have to let it go. This is particularly hard for empaths. Both of you, get writing, I look forward to reading your books.
