Sorry to learn of the passing of James Darren today . I will always remember him acting in the Gidget Movies,The TV series; Time Tunnel, TJ Hooker and his appearances in the TV Series; Donna Reed Show, Ba Ba Black Sheep and Star Trek Deep Space Nine, He was a good big band singer, singing the american songbook and standards !
I was 14 in 1961 and loved this live album. I remember me standing outside the Peppermint lounge on 45: Street with my mom cause I was too young to get in .Years later I met Joey Dee in Hampton bays ,long island when I was playing the Tianna beach club with Leslie West Vagrants. Thank you for this rarity. I hadn't heard that from her before. The Norwegian singer was successful in the 1960s in her home country and in Germany. Her greatest hit in Germany was "Ein Student aus Uppsala [A student from Uppsala]".
