I was literally told to go to the next platoon office because I wasn't wanted, lmao. Then, the next platoon Sgt told me to go back where I was because he didn't want me either. Oh, how wanted I was haha. Edit: this was a while ago. I was at my first unit in 2012. Im not sure how it is now. I was also 11B, so that may have also played a factor at the time.
Don't make aa career decision on how easy or difficult boot camp is or how pretty a uniform is. There is a reason why some services prefer youth and inexperience.
Goggins story is pretty incredible tho. Most navy seals dream of that stuff from childhood. Goggins was fat and depressed, saw a commercial, and like a year later was a navy seal. In terms of “motivation” that’s top tier stuff.
I was suppose to ne in the airforce had a recuter and everything this this marine recuter asked if I would be interested I said had I already go a recuter with the airforce he said that's good your to much of a bitch to join the marines...I ship out December for marine bootcamp 😅
