Thanks so much, pls if u want to pad with 1" while cutting the main skirt fabric if u add extra 4" what about sew all, i mean e,g my hip 39 and i add 1" hip pad my new hip is 43, pls i want to know what about sew allowance for turning linen??
The lining wouldn't need extra inches... Since the foam would be sewn on the fabric, the foam would only give the main fabric shape.... So use 39 still, or better still, just 40 inches
What I do is, measure the client.. Then If I don't have the measurement, I subtract 4 inches from the hip measurement to get the knee circumference, if it's for elderly ones, then 6 to 8 inches from the hip measurement if it's for young ones
To get knee circumference Hip 40 - 4 Inches Knee circumference=36 So 36 inches is the circumference, but this method works for clients that doesn't want something fitted. Or send me a DM 08146642967
