Altitude is an aerial video production company that captures events, weddings, engagement videos, real estate sales, sports, sailing, surveys and more. Based out of Kansas City, we also serve clients in the greater St. Louis and Columbia areas. Altitude is owned and operated by Nancy & Julie Bartonic. When not shooting videos, you can find them sailing their 1972, 23' Ranger Tall Rig Sailboat "Endaxi" with their mini goldendoodle Catalina Kay, near their home on Lake Jacomo with the Jacomo Yacht Club (Quite probably the friendliest and least pretentious yacht club on the planet). Kitty isn't gonna like it but a hot bath might loosen the wax from their fur enough that you can gently remove the wax. Don't run the water too hot. You dont need to melt the wax. You only need to warm it enough to be malleable. If it's only a small amount of wax on one small spot on their fur, you could even use a hot washrag to accomplish the goal. Or something like one of those heat compresses you put in the microwave to warm up. Just place it on the wax and let it warm the wax up enough to slowly pull it off without hurting the fur it's stuck to
@@AltitudeVideoProduction I would very much like to take you up on your offer. I am available on weekends ( anytime ) and evenings ( starting around 5:00 ) You give me a time and date, and I will be there. This would be my 1st time on a sailboat.
Yes it is! It's the areas only horsepower restricted lake and therefore perfect for sailing. You are welcome to check it out at our yacht club meetings every month. It's the friendliest and least pretentious yacht club on the planet. More info at www.jacomoyachtclub.com
@michaelseckington1647 winner winner! 🏆 Yes, indeed it is! Not a lot of people understand where the name comes from. Most people believe it is an old Indian name. Missouri Corp of engineers started construction of the lake in 1953 and was completed and opened in 1957. It covers over 900 acres and is horsepower restricted to 25hp. The perfect place to come try sailing ⛵️, kayaking or paddle boarding for beginners. Come out and enjoy a day on Lake Jacomo!
@@dennisschullerjr1720 I grew up north of the river in Platte Woods and was always fascinated by the elided place names in the KC area such as Jacomo and Claycomo.
Great video! Looks great! I'm jealous of the drone shots 😢 replacing mine next month. Congratulations to the skippers and their new sailboat ⛵️! Cheers!
Thanks! 👍 The Ritter Brothers are everyone's go to for anything sailing related. They do fabulous work, are incredibly knowledgeable, and a fabulous family as well. Seen here on the boat is Seth Ritter and his dad. Zach was busy picking up his daughters from first day of kindergarten and high school. What kind of drone are you getting?
I really like the filter you are using. Makes it look like an old 1970' family film, lol. Took me back to my childhood, thank you ! Music is great also 👍 Great job! Wonderful video 👏👏👏
Thank you Dennis! The sundrenched yellows and browns bring me back to those fabulous 70s photos and videos too! Thanks for your input and thanks for your fabulous videos!!! I live watching what you produce on your channel!
My son just let me know that it was your talents that composed this video, but that doesn't alter my praise. You did a beautiful job! Welcome to the addiction of bird watching. It can be both joyful and sad, like most things in nature. Thank you for promoting my son and I look forward to seeing more of your work as well.
Thank you! My videos of wildlife are nothing compared to your son's! Thanks to his videos I've developed a sense of wonder for these birds. Thanks for watching!
It was so uplifting to see the young eagles on the wing, thriving after surviving. I do hope the parents return and rebuild a new nest that you can continue to film for us. Thanks for sharing this great news and film!
Thanks for your kind words. I'm hoping they rebuild next year as well. Let me also state I can't take any credit for the story...it was all captured via Dennis Schuller Jr. Through his lens and by his patience and time. These are just amateur videos taken from our sailboat. I am a new bird watcher now, as these eagles have really captured my attention. Thanks so much for watching. (Now go see the real videos on Dennis' channel!!😂)
Seeing those two eagles soaring in the sky, with the sailboat rigging in the foreground, is just wonderful. What an iconic view of those two. So happy we were able to find a happy ending to the tragedy that befell on the eagles nest this year. We are all hoping to see them return next year and start building on a new nest 🪹. Thank you so much for posting this and the mention of my channel. I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️! Cheers, everyone!
I went out around 1600 this day. It was pretty windy but I think it calmed down around the time I went out. It was pretty off-putting to just see the top three feet of a sail sticking out of the water. I'm happy everyone was okay!
@@AltitudeVideoProduction It was so wonderul meeting Julie today. I look forward to checking out and sharing more of your wonderful footage and I hope to run into her again.
Right on time! I was just wondering 🤔 a couple of days ago when I would get to see a new APV. Excellent job! You have some really good shots in there. Edits are nice. Thanks so much for making and sharing this with us. Best of luck, Cheers!
There are always planes flying around there and the last thing I want to do is mess up any if their signals so I try to really watch for them....in the video I was actually waiting for it to pass by overhead until I started gaining some Altitude. Any Eagle sightings lately? I'm always watching for them too, but that is your Forte for sure!
