Master Wardrobe - Storage untuk tudung Saya tak guna any fancy system pun untuk tudung! Before this semua tudung saya gantung on our open wardrobe system. Ingat kan nak leave this space dalam this wardrobe as storage untuk luggage, tapi yang tu kita akan allocate dalam almari Aizad later on sbb dia tak perlu add any storage space just yet. Our wardrobe is Ikea Pax, jadi saya beli the komplement rod je haritu, technically dapat free sebab pakai points. These rods are pretty good, tak pernah kendur atau ada isu rod tercabut overtime. TAPI saya suka guna the clip hangers (link no. 341) untuk tudung yang dah siap iron/ironless. Boleh terus sarung je, and awning pun masih on point. These hangers saya beli dkt kedai yang jual barang2 untuk kedai baju. Tudung yang jarang pakai, saya pakai a collapsible hanger (link no. 343) untuk save space. Untuk serkup, saya guna a hanger dgn clips (link no. 342). Both of these saya beli dkt Mr. DIY. Kitorang punya maybe size 70L kuts? Sis jenis tak tahan bau busuk, jadi time nak buka the bin, auto tahan nafas. Nak cuba bau pun tak boleh sbb hidung terus shut down 🤣🤣. Yang penting bila bin tu tertutup tak ada bau, lagi2 since one of the bin tu betul2 dkt window kitchen kami (my fav bin sbb tak payah jalan jauh untuk buang the food waste). Bab bau ni sangat lah penting lagi-lagi bila kita ni hidup berjiran. Issue pest macam tikus, kitorang tak pernah have to deal with it sbb food waste dalam bin tu tak exposed, jadi bila tak ada bau and access, haiwan perosak pun tak datang. If ada issue tikus in the area, boleh refer video yang kami prep the bin sbb dalam tu saya share tips untuk combat the issues. Bila bin dah penuh, rest je the bin dan jangan tambah any new food waste dalam tu. Depending on size bin, jenis food waste dan environmental factors dkt area korang, isi bin tu akan surut in a few weeks. Dekat rumah kami, kami rest sebulan bila penuh and isi bin kami akan surut separuh. Lepas tu kami repeat the cycle and isi sampai penuh dan rest semula. Untuk kami, this method paling sustainable untuk tahap kerajinan kami (which is low 🫣) and cerewet bila bab bau. So far this method lulus on both accounts! PIC tu biasanya arkitek, boleh pergi website/pejabat local authority dan cari listed firms dan architect yang dah berdaftar dengan majlis area tu. PIC tu kena ada banyak experience lulus CCC baru kita tak pening. Boleh call je majlis kalau nak additional info. Sebab lain majlis, kadang2 tu lain proses dia. Kalau kontraktor yang PIC, make sure kontrak jenis "design & build", kontraktor tu yang akan appoint arkitek, engineer, QS, dan land surveyor. Yang penting semua kena ada black and dan work scope yang lengkap dari design & submission, sampai lah ke CCC.

Boleh pakai racun, tapi saya guna kid friendly punya cara sbb kami ada anak2 kecil yang main dekat area ni. Boleh curah air panas, atau sembur campuran cuka + garam. Tapi kena rajin buat, skrg ni tgh penuh weeds sbb dah lama tak buat since before puasa.

Our smart home journey start dari time kami bina rumah ni dan semua kami buat DIY. Untuk all devices yang pakai remote, kami integrate dalam Google Home melalui a smart home controller: shope.ee/603JCTF3SN Untuk yang jenis keluar bilik baru ingat tak tutup kipas, atau ada anak-anak kecik yang tak sampai switch lampu and kipas, senang sikit kerja kita. Tip dari Aizad kalau nak jimat time membeli is.. rajin-rajin lah check carousel atau facebook marketplace untuk beli secondhand. 50% of the smart devices yang kami beli semua beli secondhand je.. Kitorang pun jual juga some smart devices yang tak compliment the workflow of our home. Google devices yang kami guna ada dua jenis, one is google mini, this one speaker sahaja jadi good for bedrooms, untuk the kitchen sahaja, kami guna google hub, sbb nak ada one yang ada screen untuk tgk youtube videos dan google recipes, this one pun ada juga a speaker. Great video! I came across your IG randomly and I’ve been wanting to do something like this for my laundry area. My switches pun hidden behind the washer, so I used a wifi smart plug 20A version, so far Alhamdulillah it can handle the amperage from my dryer and washer. But when I do go outstation I still completely plug out just in case.
Yup! that's another option if ada clearance for the smart plug on top of the appliance plug. We've used a few smart plugs also around the house especially for lamps and battery chargers. Still prefer plug direct for large appliances like this though, just a personal preference!
From the manual itself tak nampak macam ada any major maintenance. Dari my research online, most just guna a special solution to clean every couple of months, sama macam kita kena clean most appliances. The cleaning solution tu ada jual dkt shopee, kitorang dah beli, tapi tak buat lagi, maybe in two months. Will share updates when we do!

Tapi unfortunately, dah discontinued for a few years already. Kipas Alkova 72” Yang ni kami pleasantly surprised, dalam banyak2 kipas dekat rumah ni, yang ni yang paling kuat. Harga mahal though, tapi for our living room kipas ni jadi centrepiece sebab area besar and kami perlu kan kipas besar dari biasa. Blade kayu tu memang *chefs kiss*. For now saya pasang between the grill and the window opening, tapi if saya rasa it’s not secure enough for wildlife prevention, saya akan move it to the outside instead. Saya disclaimer awal-awal yang hob, hood & steam cleaner saya pakai semua dah discontinued! Good news is, all three memang bertahan betul 😂 Brand hob dan hood kami brand Elba. Over the years, the hood tu kami pernah baiki dua kali, sekali (in 2021) untuk lampu rosak dan satu lagi kali (in 2023) sbb motor untuk naik and turunkan hood tu rosak. According to the repair man,dekat rumah kami is the first and only time dia pernah nampak this model of hood and hob dari Elba. Tapi what was more surprising to me, the parts untuk hood tu senang dapat walaupun model ni rare. Not bad Elba! Dari segi the number of burners, kami pernah ada experience dengan 2,3,4, and 6 burner hob. This kitchen kami buat pre-tm6 jadi my selection would be between 3-4 burners. Kalau sekarang, I would say 2 dah cukup 🫣 Steam cleaner tu saya beli 7 tahun lepas, ada je an affordable option dekat shopee kalau korang interested nak add it into your cleaning arsenal. Tapi ada one perk la kalau go with a well known brand, walaupun this model dah discontinued, saya masih boleh beli the replacement brush heads and mop pads sampai ke hari ni! Macam in the video ni, saya settle cuci semua dengan one full tank with some steam leftover untuk cuci and sanitize the sink juga. If saya nak go for glass hob in the future, saya akan go for full induction instead. Bila dia bercampur material specifically macam design our hob ni, banyak nooks and crannies, it’s hard to get a streak free finish on the glass. Kalau nak streak free glass, kena cuci the whole thing mcm dalam the video. Kalau pakai sabun or kitchen cleaner, untuk saya dapat a streak free finish lagi banyak effort. Mujurnya ada juga cara simple and cepat untuk cuci level berkilat macam ni and at the same time, hilang segala jenis kesan minyak tanpa perlu bilas atau guna air sabun. The combination of the high temperature of the steam dengan the pressure mmg senang nak tackle kotoran yang melekat dekat the hob juga. Memang kipas ni tak untuk semua orang, mmg renyah nak cuci and dari segi maintenance, tinggi sikit because of this. Kitorang sanggup lagi sbb the look outweighs the maintenance, since kitorang tak nak nampak macam ada kipas dalam dapur 😅
