Thank you so much , I’m stressing out so much for my speaking exam, as I hate public speaking in general 🥲. I’m am literally the quietest in my class and the amount of times I know an answer to a question that no one else knows but I’m to shy to say it or when the teacher can hear me and I have to repeat so many times….. to many to count 😅. i did social media / beauty standards but went for a different take as it was very generic and was over done in my year group and ended up getting a distinction so if u take a different take it should be fine
I would like to do mine on the six wives of Henry VIII but I'm not sure how to make it engaging and as interesting to other people as it is to me. How could I add a hook as you say into it?
@@Motivation.mindset327 Hii so I eventually did which is a better pet cats or dogs and so basically some of my points were the benefits of each one what that means for families like companionship and I was able to link facts about how they can improve depression the drawbacks and issues that my affect families like financial issues and behavioural issues and talked about which one would be better for different types of families and also if your school allows you to make your own questions for the examiner to ask DEFINITELY do it and make sure to cover topics about your chosen subject in your questions because my teacher said that really helped my mark and the fact I could answer the questions he asked me off the top of my head also massively helped because it showed I knew a lot about my topic
it's not a part of either of the papers but rather it's a separate requirement you have to complete in order to pass your GCSE - your teacher will probably know more than me!
My speaking app is not working for me it keeps on glitching 😢but l love the idea of flashcards and the idea of statistics 🤗🌺🌺🫶🏼🫶🏼. Thank you for the tips and advice I will try it for my English GCSE’s speaking✨✨
to be honest next week are my mocs but i cant really focus while revising and stress makes me forget everything :( but when I see these sort of videos like your post I really want to revise but stress takes over
don't worry, that's something a lot of students deal with. i've written this post that might help you inmyopinion.site/?p=1042 but generally, just do the study methods that you enjoy and make it as fun & relaxing as possible so that your stress will naturally reduce :)
i did the paper version in august of year 10 after my maths gcse. the maths content is slighly easier than gcse content so i would recommend doing it in the summer after your maths gcse because then you'll have all that maths knowledge already in your head. it's even easier with the digital sat now because you get desmos :) for the reading and grammar, i found it really different to english lit/lang gcse since you don't infer at all, you're just finding what it says in the text so it should *theoretically* be easier, but i found it difficult to slip out of the inferring mindset. the grammar section was also tricky because it's different from what we do at gcse, but as long as you read a lot you'll be fine! hope this helps :)
Just do it, literally just get of your ass and do it. It’s easier to do something if you think less of how you do it and just get up and do it. So if you want something just go ahead and take it, so imagine what you want to look and feel like and just work for it. Good luck

here's what i said on your other comment, just reposting it so that you definitely see it: you could get it to write book/chapter summaries, get it to identify the most important quotes from the book, maybe ask it to analyse different themes in the book so that you get a different perspective? let me know if that helps!

another thing you could do is ask it to summarise historical events around that time for context (this is especially important if you're aiming for the 7-9 grades!)
you are so useful and talk abt actual facts and science behind the study tips idk how ur channel didnt blow up yet i for sure know that in the upcoimg days ur channel will blow up like crazy <3
