The 24 hours of Eagle is legendary around the greater Eagle River area. If you reach out to the Hall of Fame I believe there is a VHS tape that exists of the first race. The second year it was plagued by warm temperatures during the race and turned into a mud event. The actual sled Joey referenced was (may still be) on display at the Hall of Fame as it came off the track... plus a few finger prints.

We hadn't been racing much at the time of the red bull snow boundaries, but I remember looking at the rules and actually bought a sled specifically for that race and was going to race it. never got it race ready.

Good episode. Might have to adjust your volume or something. Had to have it near full volume while listening to in the truck to hear the conversation. When an ad would start playing the ad would be super loud.
