There is absolutely no way, that this marriage will last long ; She is bossy and strong headed ; And unfortunately , marriages ruled by women almost end up either in divorce,or as a war zone !
I don't understand what the bride meant by saying she will not submit. There is no rule anywhere in a marriage vow that makes one submit to another just like that, this is team work and yes todays women do have the caliber to manage things as well if not even better than men, so in a family both need to have their views put into and I fully agree to the revolutionary speach that the woman had given its different from the normal way that things are done, todays women don't want this stereo type life but need change in their marriage as well and only they can be that voice. Good luck to you both.
I love this! I’m getting married next year and I already know that my vows aren’t going to be nearly as emotional as my fiancé’s. In fact, there’s a lot that she says in her vows that I can totally relate to. She appreciates him for recognising her as his equal, why is that any less valid than any of the compliments he gave her? People need to chill out a bit. And as for the swearing - it’s their wedding! Why the hell they gotta be worrying about upsetting other people at their own wedding?!
Ben posted this with the comments section open. So obviously he had no issues with his brides vows. If she wanted to be herself, good for her and him. Anyway, it just one minute in a lifetime of marriage. Hope they both have a long happy life together. However, equally, I see no issues with comments here that says her vows did not match the sheer class of his. They simply didn't. I bet some people attending thought the same. And equality means that if a woman deserves criticism, it should be given. Withholding it on the grounds she is a woman is just more sexism. My wife and I curse an awful lot in the 37 years we have known each other. She is worse than me in frequency and in the potential offensiveness of the words, the c bomb is often used. She is high energy and aggressive like the bride here. I love her for all of what she is including her foibles. But we never use those words where we know they have the potential to offend. So on public and solemn occasions such as taking marriage vows, we would avoid anything like what the bride did here. Later on perhaps, at a wedding table where we all knew each other and everyone had some drinks on them, our true less-than-perfect selves might well emerge as my new wife and I competed with each other to tell the dirtiest joke. But that's just us. Each to his own.
If that were the groom's vows, he would have been trashed (deservedly so). It's cheap that some people are defending her vows in the name of feminism when these same people would have bashed on the guy if the roles were reversed.
Completely classless bride. The altar is no place for the f bomb, and her opening salvo about having testicles was pretty rotten, too. Bet this guy wakes up in a cold sweat every other night in his wife's shadow as she stands at the foot of their bed screaming, "NO WIRE HANGERS!!!!!" LOL this girl has NO CLASS. I actually felt sorry for this guy for a second, then I remembered he made that choice himself.
Yikes...know your audience. Not the place to use the "F" word. Vows more appropriate for a court house private ceremony or a bar. Just saying. Wait 'til their children see those vows.
I like how im the only one whos okay with her vows like this. This is juat her personality which is crazy funny and fun. I see nothing wrong with it tbh
Some of these comments are extremely sexist of you people to be writing on here! Quit spending your lives in the dark age and understand that men are not the only ones who have the right to say what they say, but women can say what they feel as well! If that was how she chose to express her self, so be it! All that matters is that he was not offended! I think some of you people browse RU-vid and find things to get offended with, just because you feel like it and that is utterly ridiculous! I thought her speech was brilliant and it is a speech that I definitely might take notes from! If you and your bride see this, Ben, tell her that I think it is awesome and she is one hell of a woman for having balls as big as you do! That is a line that I use all the time! You have a great Woman!
Gag me with this bullshit. Poor people talking about traveling the world. I wonder if both of there folks are rich. Definitely makes (taking the world over) easy. Assholes.
@ce collie well guess what I could care less what you think. You're clearly triggered because, I've noticed you commenting on other people's post too. Saddens me you have to make your last stand on some random people's wedding video.
I'm performing a wedding on Monday with a Sci-Fi theme (it's not my thing personally, but it's not about me) and I'll be dressing the part. 👽 Why can't we just celebrate love no matter where, how, why and to whom? Love more.
I dont understand these comments. They are so mad at the bride. Like her vows seemed more realistic. Even had his fucking name. I didnt even know her name.. chill out in the comments. Her vow was awesome.
