Stampede got me back i yo the Trigun famdom after a decade of being out of it. Yeah the chamges were hard to swallow at first but if you can let the series stand on its own merits it was really good. Can't wait for Trigun Stargaze to see where the atory goes from here. Also, Milly fans, our wait will not be in vain!
The first episode is necessary to establish the goblins as a vile threat, so we don’t bat an eye when GS massacres them in creative ways. Personally I enjoy the lighthearted episodes more, but because we see GS is out of his element when he’s not killing. And when the fun times are interrupted by the goblins and other threats, you do feel like all the good stuff is in jeopardy. GS is one of my favorite anime’s and I can’t wait for the second season!
Great video! I didn't know about the historical context, and that there were actual texts that survived till present day. When I began watch S1, i thought they were talking about Finland, and I thought "oh ok so i'll get to learn about the history of Finland?" 🤣 I agree with everything you said. That the show is a modern day epic (i loved The Odyssey the most), Askeladd is MVP, Thorkell is BEST GIRL. I've been absolutely loving S2. The storytelling and Thorfinn's character growth is incredible, which is why I love it more than S1 (which was 10/10). I read up to chapter 86 about a month ago, and I just finished chapter 100 couple days ago. I can't wait for the next episode cuz there's stuff i've been waiting for since episode 10. There's not much for me to complain about. I just love the show very very much.
The first episode is necessary to make you hyper aware of the danger that exists in the world that these characters live in, makes things more exciting even the lighthearted moments
@@AniScope I don’t really care if you find soothing to the eye or not, it’s janky, and stiff, and looks more like a slideshow running at 4 frames a second than the illusion of movement. It’s objectively bad animation.
@@zulqernein Beastars was way more than rough around the edges, it was flat out bad. And Stampede is objectively janky, you can say it isn’t all you want, but you can tell it is clearly by simply watching it. There’s not a moment that doesn’t feel like a bad ps2 cutscene.
Trash, is more like it. The best show was zeta simply because it connected 3 shows and an ova together. Plus old school universal century is always gonna be superior simply with its hand drawn animation backing it up with creative gusto unlike this CGI laden, body pillow of a weeaboo fest.
Tristamp has some flaws but I think it’s doing an amazing job for what it is. Plus, it’s introducing more people to my favourite series! What’s not to love! I am hoping they’ll change things to be a little closer to original trigun in season 2, but that’s just personal preference haha, minor stuff. I can’t wait to see where they take this
I really loved your video, but didn't appreciate your butchering of their names or the locations. Its not Lisa Tibbs its "Tepes", its pronounced (Tep- Esh), its also not pronounced "Wallachia", its (Va-llachia).You also pronounced Sypha Belnades wrong, its not "Bell-naise" its (Bell-Nah-Des). I understand this is your channel and your content, but if you want to grow and get more subscribers, its better if you got their pronunciations right, some folks will be insulted by it and not subscribe or like it. Other than that, thank you for taking the time to create and upload this video.
Goblin Slayer is an autistic guy suffering from an extreme trauma.. the bad things that happen to the women throughout the show is one part of a larger picture that i think this video missed. His armor, his behavior, his speech and the people who care for him on the farm. its because he has autism. the climax of the show was him taking off his helmet why else would that be significant?..
If you are talking about LN, you should know that the demoness trio are much stronger than Benimaru. The Top 6 is actually: 1-Diablo 2-Zegion 3-Carrera 4-Testarrosa 5-Ultima 6-Benimaru
I had an amazing time reading the manhwa to the point that I don't need to watch the anime...Yes it's really fun seeing Jin Woo goin from a negative to become the strongest at the end. It's already a win for me that it's goin to have an anime adaptation done by a JP anime studio despite being korean and has content brutally racist to JP but I'd still watch it in order to know if it's a bad or good anime adaptation of SL
Eh, not really, the last gundam series that came out was iron blooded orphans and that had a much better perception than witch from mercury, the only thing different about witch from mercury compared to the rest of the gundam franchise is that rather than tackling the topic of a war between differing governments, its now about a war between corporations, also technically Suletta isn't the first gundam protagonist but she is the first gundam protagonist to get her own show, its a unique gundam series but its definitely nothing too new, it still has the same gundam drama and politics albeit its now in a corporate scale, the only thing fresh with gundam witch from mercury however is the fact that they hired 4 different prominent mecha designers for each corporation which is unheard of because usually each gundam series there's like one mecha designer for the whole show but they aren't pulling any stops on this one and actually hired 4 of them, also according to sunrise this show was made to cater to teens thus the school setting and it really puts off a lot of veteran gundam fans albeit it does reel in a new younger audience, either way its a good show definitely not revolutionary for gundam, I still think the originals, chars counterattack, thunderbolt, and unicorn all of the classics and UC timeline series were the peak of gundam something that can't be easily replicated in todays time even if they shift to a newer audience however I am betting on the live action adaptation of gundam currently in production by legendary pictures to bring gundam to the entire world, that is when the real peak of gundam finally reaches to newer heights
I'm a very veteran Gundam fan and I absolutely love this series whereas orphans which was never really one of my favorites (and frankly was way too depressing). I'm quite old school with 0083 and 08th MS Team being my favorites. I like the feeling of this series, especially how the tone changes as it progresses. I hope that, in the end, the main protagonists ultimate fates are as good as those from 0083 and 08th MS Team.
The one thing that I hate as a fan of the old anime apart from Millie's absence, is that you can plainly see that one of Vash's arms is prosthetic. One of the coolest moments in the old anime was something like 12 episodes in, we learn that one of Vash's arms is robotic and has a gun hidden inside it, which lets him win the fight against Knives' first henchman. PLUS I think it's a massive wasted potential to not let the viewer actually see how he lost it, considering how this reboot begins earlier in the timeline. Not too important, but from a plot standpoint, it seems like a waste to me. Hopefully, we get a flashback explaining how he lost it.
