I just got one yesterday, so my obvious first response is the shaving test. The hairs disappeared under mijimal force even my shaving razor struggled with.
Just got my drop point today. Some ppl complain about the retention of the sheath. The retention is good. I added the clip to the sheath and it fit my belt perfectly. I just wish there was a better way to keep it from sliding between my 1:00 belt loop and the 12:00 belt buckle area. I’ll see what I can do about keeping it still. It’s still a great tool and I’m glad I got it. The draw came natural too, no issues even if it did float around from 12-1:00. As far as retention, I wouldn’t sleep with it on, but I wouldn’t worry about it falling out either unless you’re doing something rough, then you might not want to be wearing a blade anyway. Just my review.
This was a great video and very helpful for size reference! Thank you. The last category I would have liked to have seen was power banks and cords. Well done Sir!
Awesome video ! If you still have the R60, would it be possible to get the exact measurement of the part with the sticker on the top ? Not the sticker itself, but the length of the recess where the sticker is. I can see it's around 9.6 cm, but it's hard to be sure with the video.
USA quality has gone down the past decade and Chinese quality has gone up the past decade. I love it! Tired of people hating Chinese imports when that’s how America conducts business. The Chinese aren’t sneaking these items here 😂 I can be a patriot and love the items I own regardless of the dirt from which they’re made over
how have i only just realised Pelican & Peli are the same company, turns out they had to rename themselves for the UK & European market, not sure why they decided on a different logo too though that's probably what's caused the confusion.
those idiots couldn’t have made a california legal version? like they made a large med and a mini and the mini is a half inch too long. for one thing it would be a great starting knife for a child so it would be beneficial in that aspect to keep the mini 2” or under but also there are 40 million people living in california and the only version of this knife that will ship here has to be under 2” and there aren’t a lot of california legal switchblades available so there is a market for them here and i don’t understand what they expected to benefit from making it 2.5” instead of 2”. like you see all these videos about making ambidextrous knives for the benefit of only six percent of the population when california makes up 12 percent of the american population and probably an even larger percentage of their mini auto market for the total blade hq sales and we are only one state away from their headquarters but they seem to forget we exist.
I understand you and agree 💯 that you guys are more lucky than we are in Europe. In more and more countries, knives are banned at all or with huge restrictions 🤬 Looks like for the government carrying a knife or SAK is more dangerous than illegal guns or drugs 🤔
What a great walk-through, thank you so much for revealing how to use te back straps without undoing trousers belt 🙂 I just love the pouch! And it's perfect for my (mostly urban) EDC. Small, compact, but still easy to fit with a folding knife, flashlight, paracord, plasters, needles and threads, plenty of other small stuff and a pack of tissues on top of it... Perfect!
I lived out in Montana mountains for 10 years never needed most of this bs RU-vid keeps promoting. This video is the prime example of living in excess.
Got the 2022 and 2024 …. Always hesitating which one to pick every day 🥴 Be careful not to open 2 items on the same spring, very hard to open and also strains the spring. Just one at a time 😉
