Please explain how to match the temperature to the Swift Command panel using the offset button. Also, when the van is up to temperature, should the electricity turn off? Ours does, and we don't know if this is right. Picked the van up yesterday and are trying to work out how to operate, ourselves, rather than ring the dealer every 5 minutes. Thanks.
Thanks for the tutorial sir In return I’ll tell you to look into Islam, pure monotheism and morality from our Creator delivered to us through prophet Muhammad. And the Quran is from God in Truth, a guidebook for all difficulties and aspects of human life. None should die without hearing the message
All well n good if the 6 and 7kg bottles fit in your caravan/motohome!! 🤔😠 Calor due to pressure of customers are now starting to supply the 3.9 propane bottles again, thankfully as from this month!😊
Omg I was trying to figure out why my grill wasn’t getting gas but stove top was. Yep the stove lid was down while trying to light grill. Had no idea about the safety gas cut off. Thank you
Thank you! You really saved me when I couldnt reset the error code on the display. It was only nine degrees (Celsius) in my camper and otherwise it would have been a very cold night.
I've got some good news, Calor Gas UK Limited have reversed their decision to get rid of the smalled 3.9kg Propane and 4.5kg Butane cylinders and is in a process of bringing them back. This will take time though and it could be a while before they return to stock and returned to Calor dealers.
Hi Simon, Just a quick question: When the AC unit is running at night, in night mode, is there an option to turn off the flashing blue light as the compressor kicks in and out.
So you never really explained much. What does the heating mode operate on A/C. D/C ?What does the complete unit operate on ? Does it have a heating element in it ? Does it have a soft start? Does the unit shut off when it’s reached its temperature in both the heat and cool modes? Or does it stay running? You posted a pop up at the beginning but if you can read that fast. Good luck. Try explaining this all over again. Thanks
I like the questions you asked the guy and I just asked Google bard artificial intelligency this reply I got: The Truma Aventa air conditioning operates on **both AC and DC**, depending on the mode: * **Cooling mode:** In cooling mode, the unit operates on **AC power (230V AC, 50 Hz)**. The compressor, condenser, and evaporator all require alternating current to function. * **Heating mode:** The integrated heat pump utilizes **DC power** for the internal fan and control board. However, the compressor still runs on **AC power** in this mode. **Complete unit operation:** * The entire unit, including both indoor and outdoor components, requires **AC power for basic operation** in both cooling and heating modes. * The **DC power** comes into play for specific functions like the control board, fan speed adjustments, and the remote control. **Soft start:** * **Yes, the Truma Aventa has a soft start feature.** This helps to mitigate the high initial current surge that can occur when the compressor kicks in, protecting your electrical system from overload. **Automatic shut-off:** * **Yes, the unit shuts off automatically in both cooling and heating modes when it reaches the desired temperature.** This is controlled by an internal thermostat. * Once the temperature deviates slightly from the set point, the unit will automatically turn back on to maintain the desired climate. **Additional notes:** * The power consumption of the unit varies depending on the mode and fan speed. You can find detailed information about power consumption in the Truma Aventa manual or on the official product page. * While the unit itself does have a soft start feature, it's recommended to consult your caravan or motorhome's manual to ensure compatibility and proper installation for optimal performance and safety.
I understand that but the electrical point is off set from the rear wheels and also has a cap to prevent dirt getting into the socket. We prefer this method so as not to have to cut into the orginal side of the van.
I have left my motorhome on at the unit for the last 3 weeks and both leisure batteries are now flat. How is this if the solar has supposed to trickle charge them?
I want to put my 2021 Swift into an indoor storage facility this winter. I have access to a mains supply, to keep my leisure battery charged through the onboard battery charger. As I would like to monitor the battery through the communication module and app, what do I need to switch on or off to do this? Thanks
Strange that they are called Bespoke when the USP is standardised fit out to keep price low. Nice van and at first the price looks brilliant till you realise it’s for a 90hp poverty model. Price of the 150 DSG will be a better benchmark. But nice though
Hi, Bespoke is the brand name and came from years of custom builds. 90hp would not be produced if it wasn't a capable vehicle, and offers customers a great conversion at a budget price.
Very good video easy to follow, wondering tho that when you put the heating on is there no icon or symbol that appears on the Home Screen to indicate it’s on, on mine which is the older version when I put heating on I get a small like recycle/pump icon soni know it’s on at a glance Thank you
Totally fed up with Calor's total disregard of the leisure industry. To exchange my two current Calorlite 6kg bottles with the all metal version would add too much to my noseweight, so I've dumped Calor completely, replaced my pigtail and switched to a couple of Flogas (Gaslite) 5kg cylinders. These are made of a composite material and "see through" so I can actually see my gas level, and they are physically lighter bottles thus reducing my noseweight. Yes, I will have slightly less gas on board but I don't use much anyway as I'm usually on an electric hook up. The cylinders use a snap on connecter which is far quicker and simpler to change than the Calor screw type and the cylinders are readily available at my local Homebase store among other retailers.
Stating the obvious is hardly helpful, the 6 Kg is 495 mm high and my Ducati camper van can not accommodate with without a rebuild. anyone ideas of alternatives? Calor clearly just abandoning its customers.
Can you please confirm what you said at 2:35 - that the solar panel on the Elegance will NOT charge the leisure battery? I thought this was it's main purpose. Theoretically on a good day, a 100W panel should be capable of producing up to 8 Amps, more than enough to keep a battery topped up. Has Swift disabled this function?
