Gonna be honest I think they might just do like a two team challenge where each team gets a point for each duel and then something might happen at the end, cause remember that in the first Will+Dress tournament where Raika and Yuyu fought they pretty much skipped a bunch of fights just to make it I am curious how things are gonna go but the first season did left some stuff in the air both with the possesion of Suo and the time traveling stuff

From the Zero incident, I believe the pretty much exploited the game by hacking in gems or something and got their team to #1 during the Tower Event. They made it so obvious it's cheating lol
To be fair, the scene in question isn't much of a combo, but the activation of that one card's effects, triggering another card. It just happened to be an over trigger.
Some points: -Remember there's a good chance this is just an oppening product and in the future they might scrapt it and just give scrumbs as support. Granted I think you can build something fun with very cheap singles in the sides to support them -The starters miss important mechanics newer players should at least try to get into. -Phantom cards returning would be fine if it was only a set of 1 -The pricing is a kick in the groin for me cause taxes I will be unable to get a good amount of the starters to try with each of them -The absence of the Over trigger is disturbing as f cause is vital for new players -The Audacity of calling them Trial Decks in the English ver. Is the worst cause players are gonna see the Faverneel/Orcust Trial Decks that are way better and gonna be like “Wtf is this?” and also misses the point that this was directed for children So much for them holding a survey only to just say “Nah, I’m gonna do my own thing” BTW no releases or announcements for Latam-no tournaments, nothing! Love to see it from a company that wants to be the best tcg in the world
Sup Zechs, solid video. Just want to say, I believe the reason the OT wasn't added into the SD's wasn't because they're hiding the OT, but because it'd be too "Complex" for new players. Same mentality as making things as vanilla as possible. No defense, its dumb as hell, OT should die, but highly doubt they ever will kill it.
My take is they hiding the OT because it's the biggest reason of why a lot of people didn't want more Vanguard. Because in their play they got OT and know how dumb it is. Sooo yes they might realise that OT is a mistake
@@drakeredgrave6747Her role as the announcer has her constantly talking over the action like she's hosting an early 20th century radio sports broadcast. It's distracting and breaks immersion.
@@HunterStiles651 that's kinda the point... She's the announcer... is it a bit distracting? Yes. A bit annoying? Absolutely. Remember that in the universe, she's announcing mostly to the stream audience(at least in this season), which also serves as a reminder that thousands, if not millions of people are watching and that the result will affect them all. So it kinda adds immersion(I don't necessarily like it, but still) I wouldn't say she's a trash character, just a nothing character. Especially in this season...
@drakeredgrave6747 I'm talking mostly about Overdress Season One when she doesn't stop talking. Ever. I compared her to early radio sports broadcasters because they had to describe the game to people who can't see what's going on with their own eyes, which results in them having to always be talking.
@@HunterStiles651 and here, they can barely see. Remember that there is no showing of cameras near the actual cards for everyone to know what exactly is happening. And even then, not everyone knows what each card does(and again, no showing of mics for the stream audience to know)...

Uhh.. The AI character is playing a deck that trades an abysmal early game for an insane turn 5 push to win, and the other person couldn't clinch victory before their kill turn.
The AI pushed murder turn an earlier turn than supposed turn (so Gripho must ride decked OT and can activate it an turn earlier with new Gripho) Gripho deck does murder turn on 11th or 12th turn by force triggering OT after they vanish their 3 Calamity cards
