I cant get past the log files and "Plate 1"that bambu sends from your printer. Think nobody has your prototype? How do you guys be ok with this? and still buying bambu? and yes even when you tell it to not use internet connection its still collecting and sending log files and your plate 1 info. to a amazon server!
@@st0mper121 that’s not it’s intended purpose. It may be possible to configure a pihole to block dns requests for the host the printer is trying to connect to, but this has many problems. One example is if it’s connecting to a cloud service provider, it’s unlikely you’ll want to block AWS. The isolated vlan or a specific firewall rule in your router is the best way to handle this situation.
Okay - had to comment again. WOW! I am so getting one of these man. So are you using just PLA bud. I think I will need to get a bunch of colors. Do you have an affiliate link?
@@markcall9695 I am using just pla for right now. I don’t have an affiliate link right now unfortunately. I applied for one several weeks ago but haven’t heard back. I’m guessing they are too busy with the sale right now. But I definitely recommend getting one still as it is a very nice machine and has given me very minor issues only so far but I think that’s only due to my learning curve lol. I give this one my recommendation for sure.
You’re welcome. Feel free to use my affiliate link in the comments if you’d like to help the channel out. Also check out the WeCreat users group on facebook I run. We have a great community there.
You probably won’t notice the difference in most situations honestly but technically the 20w has a smaller focus point and could get a better engraving with higher detailed designs but it is unlikely you’ll be able to tell the difference most of the time.
I went to the xtool site. I ask me how i can make profit Out of that? The musicbox is 49$ , than the cutting time and shipping to the customer. IT must be Sold for 100$ and a assembled for 150$ to have some profit. WHO will pay this in the world ? It is cool no way, but Not for resell and profit.
At the time I wasn’t given prices but I believe they have some discounts for current members of their Facebook groups as well. This might help get the cost down for you.
Score is a line that follows a cut path that only engraves the line but doesn’t cut. If you check out my channel I have made a few videos on this subject that will explain it better than text.
I just bought an S1. I’d have struggled a lot between it and the new Ultra had it been announced a few weeks earlier, but I think I’m still happy with my choice. The S1 was a couple thousand cheaper and still has a significantly larger work area. I think starting out, it’ll be a great machine. If it ends up making a significant amount of money, maybe it’ll pay for another machine later on. The S1 also has safety features that either F1 can’t match due to the design, particularly the auto-shutoff when the lid is up.
Yes the S1 is definitely a great starting machine to get, it is very close to my top pick as well. If it wasn’t for the speed of the f1 I would choose the S1 as my go too and the s1 wins out for size as well.
Now if you can get both at the same time!! Then you have a dream team. Portable and fast f1 for shows and stationary s1 and work space for big projects.
M1 is not designed to do curved engravings unfortunately. They can only do rotary engravings such as cups for a curved object since it rotates in place on the focus point.
I made this video that will explain them better than I can through text, please check this out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BLfPIRV_sDE.htmlsi=RwMzTlQ5qUFZx7hV
I must have miss spoke if I said it on this stock specifically. But I have done this on both. The wecreat max height is around 6” and the Glowforge is about 2” with the tray removed for engraving only on both.
It sounds like the file you have is a jpg or png bitmap of an image you would have to convert it to a vector to cut it out. Some files are intentionally an image only.
XTool’s new software 2.0 has a massive list built in now. I recommend downloading the beta version to see them all. I will try to make a video on it too
