Employers are too fussy these days. You have plenty of companies out there with not enough employees or few who are failing to hire people due to lack of "qualifications" crap (where qualifications are not that essential) , or other insecurities crap the Gay-Gov has fed them on. Despite being perfectly able to do such roles.

I suffered scaphoid fracture back 2002 went to nhs with a badly swollen wrist and explained the nature of the injury and after X ray scan they told me its fine , it was very painfull for few weeks and then got abit better , but never felt my wrist went to pain free and as strong as normal and struggles with manual jobs for years , never ever though it could have been broken , until late 2023 i had a fight with lad who we both throw punchs , my rest was painful after , i went for a check abd had an ex ray i was told i had my scaphoid fractured from ages and it developed arthritis and need few surgeries, i was so disappointed of the years i was limited of doing any jobs or stuff i like , i have no idea how much my case should worth? A Consultant Gastroenterologist just admitted in writing that I was misdiagnosed 28 years ago with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, when in fact it was Crohn's disease. I now have major structural damage in my intestines and bladder and the Consultant Surgeon has said he does not want to operate because of the risk of death. The NHS has effectively destroyed my adult life and put me in a premature death situation and I have to litigate for damages as a result.

Umm ... What about all the the vulnerable family that get taken advantage of.. the family members that don't know till years later when it's too late.. it's amazing what £800k will do to an financial LPA.... All in the best interests of the doner of course.... It's strange how some FLPA can fight tooth and nail for lack of capacity and each time on 3 occasions medical professionals council and say they have capacity..it's now off to a care home in the next county... Oh and a new capacity test by care home manager.. like a penalty shoot out ... All this is just a hypothetical thought obviously.. buyer beware as with anything there's good and bad .. sounds like yours was lucky enough to have you looking after them .

Im still on the mend at the momnent after I collapsed on to the floor outside work the other morning,I had a seizure first time in a good while,Just turned up to work,Just outside the door waiting for the manager to answer,Mean while,I felt a fit coming on,I was thinking omg,Am I going to be ok for shift this evening,Next thing,I lost consciousness,I collapsed,My head went smash clean on the ground,I split my forehead open,I woke up 10 mins laying on the ground to see my work mates standing around me thing OMG,wft is going on,They contacted the Hospital,I got a lift to to A and E at Hospital,Had Blood test done,Had MRI scan done on my head,Had stitches done on my deep cut,It was very deep cut,So taking it easy for a little while,Not back at work now till Thursday evening,still be doing amount of hours at both Jobs for the next few weeks,Till im fully recovered,so mostly back to borning times again

I went to look up (as a Dutch person) if this had to do with Common Law vs the Roman Law we use on the continent. My interest in this topic came from the fact that far right conservatives want it back in certain states. They hate the fact women leave them for being treated poorly, can't have that happening, right? Sarcasticly of course. But will post the difference for the ones interested as well but didn't know: Copy paste: When a divorce takes place in the Netherlands, the law that applies to maintenance (alimony) differs from the law concerning the settlement of assets. This is complex enough in itself. However, when a divorce takes place in the Netherlands, it is not necessarily the case that solely Dutch law applies. In some cases, Dutch law applies to the maintenance arrangements and for instance English law (or the law of another common law country) applies to the settlement of assets, or vice versa. Dutch law In the Netherlands, as mentioned above, maintenance and assets are two separate issues. Maintenance (alimony) covers income, compensation for loss of earning capacity during the marriage, and a monthly payment to enable the former spouse to maintain the same standard of living. The needs of the person entitled to maintenance, based on their financial circumstances during the marriage, are the point of departure. The financial settlement is a separate matter, as this is concerned solely with assets. Settlement of assets takes place on the basis of the pre- or post-nuptial agreement. When no pre- or post-nuptial agreement was signed, the couple automatically married in community of property, and the assets are divided equally. With the division of assets, the income component is left out. English law In England, maintenance and assets are lumped together. If the former spouses cannot come to an agreement, the court determines what it considers to be a reasonable lump sum which one spouse must pay the other. As a matter of fact, the only yardsticks of the court are reasonableness and fairness. In some cases, in addition to the lump sum, one must pay the former spouse monthly maintenance. In other cases, as well as paying the ex-spouse a lump sum, the higher earning partner needs to transfer ownership of a house to the former spouse. This is known as the reallocation of assets which Dutch law does not permit. When determining the division of assets, the court looks into factors including each spouse’s earning capacity, the needs of the person entitled to maintenance and the financial circumstances during the marriage. In short, regarding the division of assets, in England the court takes into account the income components. In the Netherlands, the court disregards income components and instead considers these when determining the amount of maintenance.
