I read Carrie shortly after it came out in the mid 70's. I was in my early teens & recall being confused by the excerpts of newspaper articles & case studies etc, but overall, I really enjoyed it. I continued to read all the SK novels (except for Dark Tower) as they were published until "Lisey's Story" broke my streak for several years. It is pretty rare that I don't find something to enjoy in his work, but there are certainly some I enjoy more than others. I finished the Stand, but I started to skim a bit towards the end. The first half where the virus was taking hold and survivors adapting to their new situation was my favorite part. Salem's Lot is a favorite of mine among his work, as is Dead Zone.
Hi! I found your page through a comment you left on Shadyside Library regarding avoiding sad books (I am the same!) I am very much a Stephen King fan, owning 70+ of his books. The reason that I am leaving a comment is that after all these years, I only just now learned from your video about putting together the covers of "The Regulators" and "Desperation" to form one big picture! I stopped the video & went to my bookshelf to try it & you are right! I have had them since they came out in the 90's & had no clue! So I figured that earns you my sub!! Thanks!
@@fiberartsyreads Thanks, Crystal! Yeah, I don’t remember who mentioned it, but there is that and of course the story Rattlesnakes is connected to Cujo so I gotta read that one too. 😁I
Love that you’re filling out your Stephen king collection! I am the exact opposite of you… I couldn’t get into his short stories… but I still have plans to give them another go!
It's all good. A lot of his short stories were adapted to movies, and a couple were turned into novels such as 'Salem's Lot. Thanks for stopping by! :)
OOPS 😉 Glad I influenced you to give these books a go! They’re a total blast :) You hauled sooo many good ones in this video! I would make some recommendations but my list would be too long 😂
Cherry Magic has got to be my favorite BL at the moment! I just got the plushies and I can’t wait for the nendroids to come out! Since you liked that one I recommend What Did You Eat Yesterday.
Hello! Ive never watched " The Crazies". I'll have to check it out. I've seen the other two and like them, especially Texas Chainsaw, original and the remake
Hello! New here!I love Sleep away camp! I've seen the second and the third ones too! It is definitely something else! The curling iron scene and the end is nuts!! Subbing, would love to have you as a subbie friend 🤗
I just tried playing this game again the other day for the first time since the 80s, and I suck at it now. It's still fun to go back to the old days, though. 😂
Loved this! Golden Girls-so iconic! Shoulder pads!! They put them in everything! It was wild. What a time to be alive!! 😆 also-I think Sigourney Weaver is everyone’s free pass 😂
That's such an obscure Disney flick. I love it because I enjoy Sherlock Holmes, but I think it was a film that did not do well in theaters sadly, and you rarely hear anyone mention it. Have you watched The Black Cauldron?
Hi Claude! I am watching chainsaw man in English for the first time. Watching TV series of More than 6 seasons is a big commitment. Thanks for sharing your entertainment highlights!
Hi Claude! Nice collection ,I have most Disney VHS. Just the artwork is incredible. Also the Disney signature bluerays. Sad they stopped making them. Cheers!
I totally understand getting obsessed with a new hobby and going all in! Oh the things I’ve booths over the years. 😂 I need to get to Chainsaw Man at some point too.
