How to be a complete moron & try to make a YT video about jumping a car: Step 1: “Make sure the car is turned off.” 🤣🤣🤣 You are the reason mechanics and people like me (FF/Paramedic) will ALWAYS have job security! I hope you learned more than you taught anyone from this video. 👏💪👍
I doubt these people are homeless, some might be really poor and some might pretend to be poor. Truly homeless people in Jakarta are not many, the ones who seem to be homeless most likely have decent house in their home city.
But why put the black clamp somewhere else?…I had to use one of these and my father told me to attach both clamps to the battery and he told me to leave it on charging for 5minutes….which I guess my car ended up working fine all day 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Hi Debbie I am glad you asked.Good to be asking. I was looking at the instructions on the jumper. I jumped batteries between 2 cars before and was a similar setup. I just looked up this info Connect the other end of the negative cable. Be sure that it’s attached to an unpainted metal surface on the engine of the dead car. This could be an unpainted bolt or bracket that is as far from the dead battery as possible. Doing this provides a solid ground and reduces the possibility of igniting the hydrogen gas emitted by the car battery.
"Connect to the right there ..." 😮💨😮💨😮💨 How about a detail or two more please? 🤔🤔🤔 Connect the red clamp to the WHAT battery post? Positive? Negative? Thanks in advance!
I just bought this and plugged it in to charge for 40hrs first time, and after about half hour there are 4 solid bars showing and 13.1v. Should I still leave it plugged?
40 hrs is more than enough. mine shows 3 lights red orange green. You might have a newer model they say to have it charged once a month. Battery slowly depletes maybe 10 percent a month. At 90 percent is still usable
The negative can go on the negative terminal why would you have to clamp it to the body of the car doesn’t matter doesn’t matter I have never done that don’t know anybody has
okay traditional jumps you should since there’s like an external spark from one car battery to another. where as this portable battery creates a safe internal spark allowing you to attach the negative directly for more efficient jumps
