Hey there! My name's Bowler, and I'm a Super Smash Bros content creator, who primarily covers videos on Super Smash Flash 2. I love all things Smash bros and platfrom fighter related, and make videos ranging from informative guides, patch overviews, community combo videos, and fun videos with my friends, hope you guys enjoy it and stick around!
As a fellow Æther loremaster, I must salute all the work and research that went into making this video, it was awesome! 👌 If I could add some bits, it'd be, and correct me if I'm wrong: wasn't it stated that Ranno cleans the waters of pollution coming down from Merchant Port? And aren't Zetter and Fors half-brothers (The latter being illegitimate, if not unloved)? Also, shoutouts to the irony of Neo Julesvale being nicknamed the City of Greed, considering the 'message™' of Dungeons 😛 There are also misc. facts, like Mollo being apparently pronounced [MO-YO] and that he's canonically trans, but that's really the gist of it (:3) Once again, awesome bloody good work mates! Here's to Rivals 2 retconning and adding to what's been established~
It's so awesome that some of the workshop characters became part of the Aether canon. It really shows that Rivals is a game franchise that values its community.
I never played Rivals of Aether but backed Rivals 2 and I have been greatly enjoying the betas. This video was exactly what I needed to understand the lore and see what kind of characters could come later to Rivals 2 (I imagine all the Champions are a foot in so Forsburn reveal is imminent, and I hope we can get the rest of the Dungeons cast join later).
2:32 This could be a reference to Vinny Vinesauce’s custom Mario brother Sponge 2:36 I think brown Luigi could be a reference to Pretzel, Sponge’s brother
I'm now pretty convinced that the plan is for Clairen to have to somehow get involved in saving the champions from the abyss. Which just sounds pretty rad, but will need properly explained in Rivals 2. Personally, I think it'd be pretty cool for her to gather the heroes not in the abyss (Absa for example) and team up with them to get the other champions out, all while the other half of the story is the champions surviving and uncovering more about the abyss.
The fact it has a meteor property at all completely changes how both aggresor and defensive player think about it. Now that it's an option, you have to respect it. I mean, overshooting ledge just means you eat an f-smash and trying to delay your recovery just results in a flying down air, but at least you can bait that out now.
No its not cheating its strategy. If you are in combat and you have a knife in your sleeve you dont tell the other guy you have a knife. You keep that hidden until it is most effective to use it
@@PixelTrainer. no I'd say it's more a kin to using mustard gas in war. Before ww2 not deemed a war crime after ww2 it was considered cruel. It was always considered illegal to use any other weapon other than your fists in boxing so your comparison doesn't work. So still not cheating cause the rules never initially dictated the use of the method.
If it were me all of the playable cast in rivals would be at the battle. Even Slyvanos, angry at the abyss he tracks it down. Give Maypul and Kragg more incentive to hustle and get Slyvanos under control before he deals serious damage to aether.
Why not allow at minimum echo fighters to the anime characters? At bare minimum Sasuke and Vegeta were rivals / on par with Naruto and Goku respectively, and Renji was Ichigo’s ride or die rival. They all made 100% sense to add. Rock Lee is kinda pushing it but he gets a pass cuz he’s cool.
Damn I would read this as a book. I can imagine the story doing flashback chapters every time there’s a fight. All I ask is that the smoke hyna that starts us off because I am appalled by maypul’s shonen energy ass and much rather read furry political drama
