When someone is hit on the torso and begins to collapse protocol in base should be to let him come to the ground and get a stretcher to carry him out. His team mates are just pulling him putting more pressure on a possible fracture. How could they not realize they should not do that. It's common sense.
Exactly. When Giancarlo Stanton was hit in the face and dropped to the ground, they brought out a stretcher and carried him out on a cart. A strike to the chest and above where you can't walk on your own should get a stretcher and cart, then straight to a hospital.
Good to know! I did not know this. I seriously have a notebook where I write down all things safety related that I learn. Like what to do if…… and how to do ….,,, etc etc. I try to cover every single thing I can imagine happening to a loved one (mostly this is focused towards my kids like how to give them cpr/when they would need it and so on. but of course wouldn’t hurt to be prepared just in general for anyone) my point is I like to learn this stuff.
