It's amazing that this was such an insanely popular handgun that 100s of companies around the world copied it... and it remained extremely popular for decades... but then became so rare and uncommon. They're every bit as good firearms as they were when they were made and there still has never really been many smaller firearms made since then. I know the Walther Model 9 and the Bernardelli (and maybe a couple others) might be smaller... but they're all still old guns that haven't been produced very much at all in the last 50 years. It's funny though, because every time I show guns like this (and the NAA mini's for example) their eyes light up and they get really interested in them. Have heard many people that never carried before say "I would carry every day if I had one of these"... and although it's not the most most powerful round, it's extremely effective and will save a person's like well over 99% of the time. (If I'm not mistaken, the firearm does not have to be fired in 98% of cases, so just drawing the gun is enough to stop the assault before the defender has to pull the trigger.)
They don't support real American freedom. They would rather embrace beer ads and snowflake companies. I really can't believe people still watch football and other kids games that grown adults get paid millions of dollars to play. They are not role models.
Just had my cylinder for my 460V cut for moon clip use by TK Custom. Using stainless steel moon clips for TK Custom for 45 ACP using the same moon clip and using Starline brass allows the 460 Rowland, 45 Super 451 Detonics and 45 Winchester magnum using Starline brass to also be held by the 45 ACP moon clip. That provides SHTF versatility in my opinion.
Funny thing was Daniel defense did quite well after the ad was banned. I myself even purchased my 3rd DD . The more the antigunners bitch, the more I buy. In the world that has been created by our current administration is dangerous. Drug cartels, riots, thefts due to inflation, lack of officers due to defunding. I mean I can go on forever. When I joined the military we were told we defend this country as well as heko those in need. Biden has crapped on all of us who served proudly. I will defend my home and family from any invaders. I will carry while I am out and about and will stop any threat if need be. And I do not have to Break a single law doing so. When seconds count people you have two choices. Run or make a stand and fight. If you can get away safely and not leave anyone behind that could be hurt then that is a great option. For everything else.. well you get the picture.
The swinging safety over the trigger is the give away the gun is a product of Spanish (actually Basque) gun makers. It is a copy or take off of the Browning patent (not at all the same) made by FN of Belguim and Colt of the U. S. Not a bad overall design, but that era tends toward poor metallurgy and crude finishing of the interiors.
Not to nit pick, but you didn't check for for clear before you started playing with the trigger, and at one point pointing it at yourself. Nice gun, got one myself.
I also have my grandfathers browning 6.35 mm from 1954. Never shot in over 60 years with a box of bullets from Germany . It is stuck in Bruno’s Aires unfortunately.
Hopefully you’re joking. Def not being a snob but if you want a home defense round look at 9mm. A 460 will blow holes through your neighbors house after it leaves yours..
Thank you for such a detailed video, I've a very similar pistol, the only difference is the trigger mechanism, I don't know what I did wrong when I put back together because the safety lever keeps falling out, any suggestion? Thank you.
I bought one just like this. I love mine in 5 inch muzzle-brake equipped barrel. The brake for cast bullets works equally well with jacketed bullets so I only use that brake.
The cast bullet muzzle-brake blocks the top ports and extends the brake vent out in front. The lead can cake on the ports and make it hard to remove and spit lead out too. The jacketed bullet only muzzle-brake cannot shoot lead safely but the cast bullet muzzle brake can handle both cast and jacketed bullets. I do not use the jacketed bullet only muzzle-brake for that reason.
Just order online like you would with Amazon. The only difference is that you have to provide your license number so that the seller can do the background check with the Canadian police.
the exit of shell and bullet please turn the weapon 180 degrees -- use gravity , when firing it works earfectly because the bullet is already out of way
I just bought a Cimarron with a 5.5" barrel with color case hardening finish chambered in .357/.38. Are you familiar with Cimarron? Did the paperwork on it and it's a beauty...haven't shot it yet though. Kinda anxious to try it out.
