Sweet video, you def hit some of the best lines and you sir are a solid rider 🙌🏼 If you make it back, you gotta check out Blue Ribbon, Double Vision, Radical Dragon, and Mullet! If you dig blue/black flow/techy flow, you will love em 🤘🏼😎 Also, most peeps pronounce it like “Gaul-brith” or “Gal-brith” with the first syllable emphasized…or just “Galby” 🤘🏼😎
Fire Mountain is over that way. I personally haven't ridden it yet but I've been wanting to, place looks really cool. Also Berm Park isn't too terribly far away and those trails are a good time
That's true on the length. Another important factor is width. It really depends on what your skiing, a wider ski is better for powder, and a narrower ski is better for groomed/harder conditions. Mine are 100 underfoot so not super wide but far from narrow. They work great on these typical east coast conditions but if I go out west I'm not sinking in the powder and I can still use my skis lol
Sweet! As per usual I watched your beech/sugar video right before going myself (sugar today) and it makes me feel like I can handle it…and then I get there and chicken out and find myself overwhelmed by the blue squares. Yay.
@@dbirds21 I haven't ridden a surron so I can't personally comment but I wouldn't describe the talaria as a pig it's got a good amount of zip to it. It's no 250 or anything but it holds its own for what it is. I do have a few friends who sold their surrons for talarias because of the power. There's also the eride pro that smokes both the talaria and surron
Have you tried the charger 3 Zeb? I found the charger 3 wasn't as nice on the hands as a Fox 38 for park days, but read the 3.1 has helped with hand fatigue. Biggest concern is for all day park laps.
I have the charger 3 on my ebike and while the 3.1 is noticably better I still found the 3 better then my 38s, but I'm beginning to think I may have had an issue with my 38s because this doesn't seem to be the norm 🤷♂️
@@DownhillJake yeah might be worth dropping the lowers and making sure everything is good. 38 is a killer fork. Been riding the 3.1 charger and I think they’re on the same level
This was 100% worth pausing John Wick 4 for lol absolutely insane dude, I had to pause the video to make the comment now after that first hit of the big one cause I literally said oh my fking god out loud! That was seriously sick, you're a legend, screw John Wick, he's a bitch 😂 all I can think of is that commentator on the Danny Hart video "how does he sit down with balls that big" 🤘 hell yeah dude, can never get enough of your build and ride videos, they're always perfect watching, even if you forget to timelapse 😂 Hope Dad isn't in too much pain, coolest dad ever! Hope his recovery is as quick as that roll in cause you guys are flying down that thing
I’d love to get back up there and check out east coast rocks and gnarnia. Did they give any indication when ECR would be open again? Sick riding as usually my guy!
I should have asked but I did hear someone say it was no more. Hopefully they will just rebuild it but the new ski slope did pretty much take out all the woods it occupied. Appreciate it man!
sickk dude! i was at beech a couple weeks ago and it started pouring! i was slipping and sliding down all the mountain. i’ve never seen anyone hit that drop on black mamba 😂 keep shredding 🤟

Your lever is making the same squeaky sound my A4’s are lol. Put some chain lube near the pivot area and it went away. Doesn’t sound like you have pad rattle though so that’s good
I'll have to do that. My pads were rattling but I recently changed them out and that seemed to help. I've heard of people putting a tiny bit of rim tape inside the caliper where the pads make contact with the sides of the caliper to help quiet them up, haven't tried it yet though 🤷♂️
My bike sucks. I love your bike! It’s so nice! Are there any bikes you would recommend? It my dream to have a bike like yours 😂 Sick vid the zebs look good
@@JamesM-T theoretically, the 38 has an additional rebound setting with the low speed and high speed rebound. The Zeb only has one rebound setting. But the experience I've had puts the Zeb on top. It could also just be riding style and preference 🤙
I'm 172ish lbs fully kitted up with 170mm travel. I got air pressure set to 61psi and I believe it came with one token installed from factory, haven't changed tokens up from stock spec
Does Beech and Sugar allow Ebikes? I can't find anything about it. I have a trial bike I normally take but I just bought an enduro decoy and was wanting to maybe take it.
@@MikeH-qs4os I've ridden my decoy at beech numerous times so I know it's not an issue there. Can't speak about sugar, there's nothing about ebikes posted anywhere so I don't see why you couldn't. You can always message sugar MTN bike park on Instagram and be sure 🤙
What is the zeb model you are using in your ebike and how doest the new model compare to that fork? Also have you felt any spiking in very high speed hits as I have understood that was a problem with the original charger 3?
I have the charger 3 on my ebike and there is a noticable difference in sensitivity when going to the charger 3.1. small bumps practically disappear. I haven't noticed any spiking on high speed hits yet on either fork 🤷♂️
i just got a '24 zeb - 180mm usually hard to trust the RS "trailhead" app, but i punched in my recommended spec on this fork, and hit the jackpot. the first 20mm of travel just FLOATS with those buttercups. combined with a new VEE tire "attack HPL" it's mtb heaven. sit down Kryptotal, the Attack HPL is the new king.
No external mic this is audio straight from my gopro. I do have the wind noise set to off so the camera always records audio in stereo mode. This drastically improves audio quality but you have to have some sort of wind muff or the audio gets blown out.
