Hmm, I've visited this show for several years, and "Country Roads" was always the first song that played for me every time I visited. Where did you find that "Rocky Top" is first?"
@AlwaysBrilliantChuckE.Ch-hq6po actors317 who maintains them. Their original show that played from 93 to 98 had 3 tracks. Track 1 had rocky top, your cheating heart and cotton eye Joe that's why the dialogue seems so out of place sometimes. Its supposed to join up. Track 2 had country roads and gonna get along without you now. Track 3 had thank god I'm a country boy and mockingbird Hill, this is why TGIACB has no intro cause originally its the song that lead straight into mocking bird hills introduction. In 1999 management changed the songs to be one song for 25 cents (a dollar since 2002) and in doing so edited out most of the original dialogue such as mocking bird hills intro, the convo at the Start of your cheating Heart and some of the convo during rocky top which gave the characters their names hence why they were called the man and dog for so long because in the edited show the man and dog had no names mentioned. If you search up the man and dog original 1993 to 1998 show you'll see what I mean
@@animatronicsfan1092 Okay, thank you! I have heard that the segments were originally longer and contained multiple songs, but I didn't know there was any footage of it. Good to know!
No, it doesn't seem CrowRanaBurger has visited Altoona, PA. We both have, however, visited the Whitehall, PA and Cherry Hill, NJ locations shortly before their respective remodels.
This is actually a combination of two songs, both by Hank Williams. "I'm So Lonesome (I Could Cry)" is sung at 0:41, and "Your Cheatin' Heart" is sung at 1:52.
These are Chuck w cheese Animatronics? I’m local and the place these guys are held in are Gillian’s wonderland not a Chuck E. Cheese. I’m just curious lol
Yes, these used to be Chuck E. Cheese animatronics! In the 1980's, one of the earliest Chuck E. Cheese locations changed ownership, and the new owners re-costumed the animatronics to be new characters. In 1992, these animatronics ended up in Gillian's Wonderland Pier, and they have performed the same seven songs in the same location since. However, Gillian's is sadly closing for good this October, and it's rumored that the animatronics will be saved by an employee.
Unfortunately this is the last year they will be performing :( it’s a shame because these are the best condition retrofitted animatronics I’ve seen in recent days
Yeah, I saw the sad news yesterday; they were in fantastic condition. I hope they will at least move them to a new location. I'm glad to see the enthusiasm for the show!
Altoona PA's animatronics were sadly removed 5/12/2024. Here are all videos from their last day! ru-vid.com/group/PLH-NkKMdzRqW0Z8Whop8a2xHtzhqLIpwP&si=1mlL2BUMwzGj4iO9
Very cool! It's in amazing condition for a Chuck E. Cheese retrofit, and the care that went into programming new songs and upkeeping the sets and costumes is impressive.
