This young woman needs to grow up. She obviously didn’t see what was right in front of her regarding her so called fiancé. She treats her mother like crap. I understand her initial alarm at someone coming into the house, once she knew the story, it was time to grow up and act like a grown woman.
A very early Happy Birthday!! A dear friend's birthday is Valentine's Day. She is 95! I met her dancing years ago. She was an award winning tennis player in her college years & has continued to play. She does all types of dancing on a regular basis, with Latin music her favorite. We attend local concerts & nature talks & meet for daytime activities. She no longer drives long distances, & rarely drives at night this past year. Last week her friend drove us to a Friday evening talk. I hadn't met him before. An excellent driver. A gentleman holding car doors, etc.. I was shocked when I learned he'll be 99 on Veterans Day 2024!! I'm 75 & if I'd been told he was 80, I would have had no trouble believing it. Your stories are blessedly entertaining. Please take good care of yourself so you can continue to enjoy life & continue to be a blessing to everyone. ☮️💞🙏🏼

This series was SO MUCH FUN to write, but the books were written out of order because when I wrote the first book (which is now #2), it was supposed to be a fun and suspenseful Christmas romance (and I did tons of research about Faberge Eggs which was awesome). I couldn't stop thinking about the characters and wrote #3, 4, and 5. THEN I went back and wrote #1 to show what happened when Amelia first went missing and the effect on the family. Kinda crazy to keep all the facts, scenes, and timeline straight - almost broke my brain, haha! I'm so glad you were able to listen to them all in order - yay! Spread the word! Have a beautiful day! 2nd listen. Good storyline. Being from the Hippie age I didn’t quite get the drama over the first marriage thing. Haha. Narration? Honestly, good...seems most audiobooks are narrated with a happy but an overly desperation in their voice. Toning that part down would be perfection for a well written book. 🎉
LOL! You made me laugh with your Hippie comment! I guess my characters are old-fashioned that way. You make a very interesting observation about narrators, too! I've never heard their voices described quite that way. I think I'll run that by one of my narrators and see what she thinks and if she can take out the desperation part next time around. Whenever we were in the city visiting my grandparents, my dad (who was a big joker and loved to laugh) would drive us down Haight Street to see the flower children on the sidewalks. Picture a station wagon with six kids peering out all the car windows as we drove around the city. 😁🙃😇😎💖

Hi! I'm 1.47hrs in and twice, after a Brookshire ad, your book stops playing. It won't start again after the arrow to continue play. The only option is to close completely out and restart from history. Just in case you may want/need to know that. So far it's just been that ad. 🎉

Yikes! I had forgotten about the snakes! lol I love the turtles! I was slowed down while driving through Woodstock, NB, Canada this week, when a big turtle decided to cross the street. It was my first time experiencing that, and I was pretty excited.
