You can not say that a northern person doesent know what a fishing lure is i feel the fisherman here in michigan are a lot stricter and better than the southerns.
northern people: all assholes southern people: actually nice, usually we are VASTLY different, and I was raised around assholes up here in Jersey. I never liked them since I was six years old, so I can definitely say I was a southerner born in the wrong place.

My dad was from the north. And Catholic. My mother from the south and Baptist. They met after WW2 when my dad returned to florida where he had had his basic training. Three weeks later they moved to Chicago, got married and 9 months later my mother gave birth to my older sister and eventually had three more children. We lived in chicago and visited florida everychance we had until we moved to arizona in 1968. My parents stayed married for 65 years until my father passed away in 2007 . He was 87 years old. Mother died in 2018 at 90 years of age. While the South has many great things about it like great food and music, I end up prefering the North or better yet the hot dusty Southwest.
