Excellent video mate!! All about the Castle Sets now here! Some great shots of the 59s and 66s up around Somerset I see you got a bit unlucky on a couple of occasions with the IETs getting in your way!! Some nice railtours there as well 44871 was really lozzing it up Tavistock Junction there and nice catch of the HST carriage move I saw that one too was quite interesting
Excellent action there!! Nice shots and variety and great to see quite a few HSTs!! Lucky that voyager was when it was and not a bit later at Hemerdon there and some great sounds from the clays! Nice catches of the track machines in the night and NMT
Cheers yeah I’ve had a few near misses with 47712 and I have actually been bowled by an IET whilst attempting to video 712 on the statesman at this spot last year
I am disgusted with this people who need housing could be here instead of the streets , uk born people are being homeless see AFTER refugees, this is a disgusting waste of property 😢😢😢
This was a great account of what’s going on down your way. I was on the 37 rail tour and I spotted you on Hamerdon bank which you will see on my video. Cheers Mike.
Excellent video there!! Some brilliant lineside shots there!! Nice to see railtours starting to pick up again for the summer!! Nice shots of the steam locos coming up the banks they were really giving it some!! Was good to see Clun Castle at Tavistock Jn today as I was there as well in the white top!
You film in some great location, its just a shame you don't get more freight down your way. It was busy yesterday so I hope you was out filming so I can watch your footage. Mike
Amazing video there as always!! Some excellent lineside shots there!! Lots of blue pullman which is gonna be the norm this year it looks like and nice to see lots of china clay and a couple of 59 workings!! Good to see some castle sets in the mix too!
Awesome video there!! You find some great lineside spots and some great shots from them too!! Nice sounds coming from most trains and the castle sets through Marsh Barton heading west sound amazing!
I went there over 30 years ago to see the South African Garret locomotive. The guy said it would run if I gave him £400 for the coal!! I loved walking that line right up into the forest and across the viaduct with my children. They could now do it wit their children, only they are not so mad on trains as I am.
Brilliant video there!! Loads of great shots sounds and tones!! Definitely my favourite freight loco shame the Moorswater cement stopped with them running it
Brilliant collection there!! Very strange to see a turbo operating to Plymouth!! Cool catch of the 150 triple there and excellent selection of track machines and other workings!!
I was a pupil here in the eighties and remember the new science block being opened with such aplomb. Like most, this place left a real mark on me and not always in a good way. I still jump every time I hear my name being called out which is unquestionably down to my SH years. The house mistresses were quite mad and I know some girls who went off the rails, at least for a few years after they left, myself included. Seeing it in a such a reduced state now is strange and cathartic. But what a terrible waste. I was always acutely aware of the heirarchy of schools in Bruton - Sexeys at the bottom, Kings at the lofty peak and SH somewhere in the middle - struggling to be something other than it really was.
Here right now, all entry seems blockaded. Edit: only one part of the building was accessible now but the others all had alarms and blockaded with wood
I'm shocked that all the chemicals in science are still there with the doors all unlocked.....The School was taken over by Kings School Bruton who I'm pretty sure are supposed to be looking after the buildings and redistributing the resources to the local community and local schools while they try and sell the site. What a state Kings have left the place in. So sad.
