Why “Crazy Dave's Crew?” Well, Crazy Dave’s Crew was originally our family signature on geocaching logs. Since starting this channel, the focus has changed to include more sewing, quilting, and crafting demonstrations and tutorials from Laura than anything else. We still include videos about our geocaching adventures, family adventures, reviews, and anything else that doesn’t fit on our homesteading channel, “The Crazy D Ranch and Rabbitry.” We have recently become Thrive Life consultants and will be showing how to cook meals with these freeze-dried products. The plans are to have tutorials on new- and old-fashioned cooking, as well. Our hope is to be able to post at least two videos on Crazy Dave’s Crew every week. So be sure to subscribe and come with us on this adventure.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. The package really doesn’t explain you need a mat with it. I’m glad I came across your video or I would have ruined my blade for sure. I also didn’t really get how you cut the fabric. I was thinking you use it like a paper cutter where the fabric goes inside the metal plate and then line it up with the ruler measurements. 😂 omg 😆 thank you, this really helps.
I was thinking my ears were going bad until I realized your iron pops back up with the little mechanic noise after you press your fabrics xD thought I was going crazy
I am doing a sampler quilt for a guild challenge and wanted to include a block with a Northumberland Star. I was using a quilting book I bought decades ago -- with cut out templates--and was having a terrible time (3 recuts and sews). So I decided to look it up on You Tube. Ta-dah! 45 minutes later it was done. If I could figure out how to attach the picture, I would do so! Thanks so much
don't lift the cover off! Simply slide it off!! I've also found that rubbing the cover with a fabric softener sheet cuts down on the static! Thank you for the tutorial!!
Thank you for sharing. You do a very good video on how to do a block. Does your rulers have paper that needs to be tore off the backside to see through them?
I didn’t think about square corners. But I agree I don’t like the I didn’t think about a square finish instead of mitar. But after watching many videos I like to flip the binding. I never get mine to close off. So I put my hot mess on the back side. Very helpful video. Thanks.
