Pretty well made! While, I was trying to find out what the “dead zone” meant on signals I came across this and helped with some other questions. Thanks!
I don’t think the obelisk was meant for Kel, I think it was meant for the Arirals due to the fact you can see a tail on the person in the hologram (or maybe that’s a weapon I can’t really tell) but my theory is that the wisps are just kind of “scouts” for the Rotizals, making sure an area is safe before coming down or something, I fail to see why they’d send a warning if they were planning on killing. The Rotizal scouts later on in the game don’t attack you if you don’t move.
@@yeet3108 Nah, I understand now. The rozitals sent the warnings to the Arirals Because they're friendly with the Arirals. The wisps aren't actually related to the rozitals and it's proven by one of the events a few days after this. I'll post a video on that shortly
*SPOILER* this is an event, if you scan and download a signal in that moment, AND you have the visual upgrade on, you will read a message "THEY CAN HEAR YOU" in the red visualization of the download panel
hey lol i just got this signal, never seen it before so i googled to see if it was like an event signal or something i was rly unnerved when I got it I thought something or someone was gonna come kill me lmao
1. Ariral messing around: Unrelated as you mentioned 2. Drives: Left by Ariral (yeah they do that sometimes) 3. No signal found: The event can still trigger if the Coordinates panel is turned off, so the satellites moving must be caused by something more external, there's no signal related to the event (it doesn't affect current signals being processed) and why they move at all is unknown If you ask me I think either Victor or Romeo went "guys wouldn't it be so funny if" in the gc, the mfs
@@add6246 Maybe an extraterrestrial force moved the satellites in another direction? But even then, the game didn't prevent me from pausing like it does with other events. And nothing else happened which i can connect back to this incident afterwards...
@@fatcat420 oh well when there are multiple suspects next to each other or in the players sight you can hear unique lines like "DROP IT" in a more serious tone
One little fact: After this event is over, you will receive an email. The email will contain unreadable characters, but the readable letters spell out the word "sorry"
@@fatcat420 nobody knows. Maybe arirals, because the letter contains many "#" signs. Exactly the same "#" spam comes to your email during the event when the arirals spaceship hovers over the satellite dish "foxtrot"
Bro, this was the hardest mission for me in the non-lethal run. The suspects just kept killing themselves and the bomb vests never surrendered. Hide and seek was easier than this mission.
@@fatcat420 Hide and seek ain't that hard the issue is mainly suspects being at range in the open sections, and on lethal runs this is actually an advantage. Just run your officers with the beanbag shotgun, it's much more effective than the pepperball gun and this is a close range map so there is no need to be using the pepperball gun (pepperball gun is my go to for when I have to shoot longer distances, such as the port mission, and even then I will run one team with the beanbag shotgun and send them into rooms) and have them with full heavy armor + ceramic plates on all sides. Steal on all sides makes them too slow. Have one cop be a nutritionist (increases yours and the swat ai HP by 25%), one an armorer (which makes full ceramic insanely OP for the swat AI, 2x all armor ratings except for steal and kevlar, this even applies to the ballistic mask, so for example ceramic rating goes from 4 to 8, ballistic mask from 2 to 4 and helmets from 1 to 2. How armor works in the game is that it will stop ALL damage until they break. The reason why steal is not included is because steal plates never break, which by the way I recommend once you are very comfortable with the game you run a single front steal plate with heavy armor as this offers the best protection while still giving the best movement speed possible, as a player you should be smart enough to position yourself so you only are ever getting shot from the front anyway) and one a pacifer which makes non lethal weapons more effective on suspect morale by 25%. I recommend having the 4th officer either be a veteran to improve your officers accuracy and reaction time OR a paramedic just in case one of your swat officers dies, so there is a chance he becomes hospitalized and not dead. Either that or another one of any of the aforementioned officers, except the armorer as the armorers effect on armor does not stack.
I have a question. What happened to Judge's old lines where he sounded more robotic? Are completely eliminated from the game or moved somewhere else? Not gonna lie but I preferred that voice than the current one
I think you're talking about the Legacy Judge voice lines. They're still in the game files, in Content/VO/SWATJudgeLegacy (I think that's what the file name is)
@@fatcat420 Ok nvm, it actually occurs at Day 23 at around midnight for me. And when I dropped it for it to fire, it simply launched itself away. I tried looking for it since I think it went into the stream, how long would it take for the Arirals to pick it up.
Apologies if the quality looks bad; i made a slight error while recording this and RU-vid compression made it worse. It should be fixed going forward tho...

Just to let you know, the signal is called Tamerlin (or something spelt like that) and there is actually another signal related with Tamerlin Also btw there is actually a Iron Lung signal you can find
@@fatcat420 nah it's a signal with the same planet as the one in the vid, and it has text along the lines of "Help everyone is dead everyone is gone everyone is dead help"... pretty freaky stuff And the iron lung signal looks like a red planet but has chunks of like grey bits on it, and the signal itself sounds like water but at the end something explodes and goes to static
Can someone explain to me what happened to me? I went into this camp, chest with alarm knocked me out and I got teleported in some kind of dark labyrinth basement with long corridors.
You no clipped out the map. The physics in VotV are still wonky, so sometimes if you get knocked out badly you'll just end up falling outside the map. Then the game thinks you're trying to "escape" the forest and puts you in this endless dark maze forever as punishment.
@@fatcat420 Also when they first appeared at midnight, you said two entities would appear on the radar. But for me, 4 entities appeared on my radar and moved very quickly. They are here
I had three encounters with them, probably 4 (they emp’ed my base disabling my lights and opening doors, and threw cool bright blue lights on top of my base). First, the campsite near “Romeo” location. Two ships, just chilling with some food. Second, one of their ships were in the sky, getting ready to fly away, I managed to catch a signal, they sent me a picture of my room, which was taken by one of them sneaky bastards outside my window. The second one, probably the most weird. Their ship was above my garage. They made zero gravity for all my base staff, and they made a lot of mess. They stole my Vendigo skull, bastards! But I guess they wanted to help me, since that scull made puppets appear much often. And the thing I hated the most. They stole the blue lights, and my frekin car! It just vanished! I was searching for it hard, in the woods. I saw yet another puppet and crowbared it’s soul out for stealing my vehicle. In daylight I managed to find it… on the bridge, it was purposely placed there by those Arials, or whatever. I was so angry, however I quickly calmed down, discovering that they somehow increased my fuel capacity to 300. What a game…
In the middle of the night, one of the Arirals broke a ventlid on the roof, jumped down with it and threw it at me, ragdolling across the room before running away
I love how the arirals are just hanging out in the forest, having picnics, and building a tree house. They're scary when you don't know anything about them, but they're just a bunch of goofballs
This is the only video where i can actually see the t-posing model, in every single other video i can barely tell where it is or sometimes dont even see anything at all
If it really heard you jumping and not just came into the room because he was done searching the other rooms then i'm scared of how advanced this game's AI is like wow
