Just went there yesterday, most of it looked sketchy. I wouldn't take my family or date there. OB in this video however did look how I'd expected it. Maybe the quality of OB has gone down as of recently.

These are hardly the 9 best neighborhoods in San Diego. I could name 9 beach communities and others that are $2 million to $10 million. These are formerly low rent neighborhoods that are vaguely affordable. I lived in Santee for 15 years. Being able to commute on the trolley is a huge plus if it works for you. Not particularly near anything. I would strongly suggest renting in any of these neighborhoods for a year before you buy. Buying and selling a house costs tens of thousands of dollars. You don't want to make mistakes. I looked to buy rentals for 10 years. There are individual blocks that are much cooler than the surrounding neighborhood, but you would never notice if you didn't live there. Hence, be a local who conducts an extensive search before you buy. Beach area property is a competition bought by the highest earners who are willing to shell out the most, the top 10%.

Maybe this is just an east county thing. But I hate how many hills there are.I also feel like public transport is just too limited. Another thing is their isnt much to do without at least spending 100 bucks.

You said it like it is. We here in San Diego vote for every tax increase, and the city never forgets to propose a new tax or fee when it's time to vote. Forget the apartment rental business now. It's a Sucker's Bet. With the Attorney/Advocate Eviction Mob running in the background.

I wish someone would have told me/WARNED ME this about Carlsbad, and that is "...Recreational Fires..." Recreational fires are allowed/permitted anywhere in Carlsbad except on the beach or in a homeowners association. I have lived west of I 5 in the downtown area for 41 years and we have "recreational" every week pretty much everyday even July & Aug non stop and there's nothing I/we can do about it. (Decided to rent my place out in Carlsbad and have now moved because of this situation.) Many people have small fire pits in their front and back yards and what's mind boggling is that it'l be 89 degrees in July or Aug or here's one for you the Santa Anna's are blowing California is on the news that the devil winds are burning down cities and big areas and people in Carlsbad are having their Recreational Fires going -- seriously! No bs! I mean you can't make this stuff up. What's interesting is if your fire pit is 15' from your house you can burn 24/7 365. I'm in a duplex where the garages are connected where there's 36 units like that with no HOA, and everyone front door is 25' from each other - and people burn every week. It doesn't mater where your at in Carlsbad I've talked to many many people and they're going through the same frustration where they can't open their window because of this hobby of Recreational Fires burning daily. So what I did was I took numerous pictures and documented every time the police and fire dept was called out by me and others having the same problem which was a very long list, and that list was presented to the city counsel. I wrote up and document everything, made a package with numerous pictures of all the fire pits actually burning and smoking out others apartments, condo's, and homes so I had "proof" not jut complaining whining words. I presented each package and personally delivered it to each member of those on the Carlsbad City Council with my name number and email, and did not get one response. I'll I'm trying to do hear is The Golden Rule, tell people, (because I wish I would have been told this) that if you do decide to move to Carlsbad I would highly recommend asking many people in the neighborhood your interested in about ""smoke"" entering their homes. Thee other issue is the chimney smoke, Carlsbad decided to allow building etc go up higher so many people are getting smoke from chimneys. Again just trying to warn people do your homework on this major health issue. If you have any doubts on what I'm writing about please feel free to contact me here on YT, I will be more than willing to send you some pictures so you know I'm not just making this up. On thee other side of the coin Carlsbad is a good place to live if you don't mind the over the top crowds cars, and hard to find beach parking. Peace and good luck to ya.

Hi guys! Just found your page and I plan to watch very video lol. Can you please tell me if this address is East side of Chula Vista? 1445 Town Center Drive, Chula VIsta, CA 91915 I'm trying to decide between this apartment and a brand new apartment in University Heights. Being from ATL, I find it absolutely insane that not all apartments have dog parks. Like......$2500 for a studio and I don't have a place for my dog to pee late at night? That blows my mind.

We're glad you found us and hope you're enjoying the content. Yes, that address is the East side of Chula Vista. The locations you are in between are completely different lifestyles and just dependent on what you're looking for. I get it with the whole dog park thing... Its tough especially in central SD area (dependent on where you live)
