theres a mod baler than turns chaff into grass that you put behind a harvester so u can chop sileage and never need to stop since it also wraps

I do silage with a forage harvester and a grass header. Modded, but there is base game equivalent

I like to set the ai worker and then fallow it with my semi so I can easily dump silage into my bunker silo

It did it in last year as well

Cattle and Crops had an AI system that FS can’t even think of, let alone implement into the game. In Cattle and Crops, you could let AI do everything with minimal errors. You could order one worker to use silage combine and the other to follow him until trailer is full. When trailer is full, the third worker comes behind with a trailer and continues the silaging while the first tractor goes back home to silos, empties the trailer and comes back to the field. All this by themselves while FS AI can’t cope with field not being straight.

My AI workers stop midfield and at half the field they are stupid.

Never thought about hooking a trailer too the tractor thats cutting i always bought another tractor and trailer and followed the ai 🧐😭

Best way in my opinion. Use 2 harvester side by side. Stop the ai helper which is on the outside line and at the end of the field move them manually next to the turning ai helper which turned by themaepf. And 2 tractor with trailer and then do shuttle service with the ai helpers to the silo. Fastes way for harvesting in singleplayer 😁

Yo is jd almost ready for testing?

I usually run a semi truck with a big trailer along side the forage harvester. And I only plant corn on fields that are close to my silos. It’s a grind either way…gotta keep that Biogas plant fed. I do have grass fields as well for my cows which I occasionally turn into silage.

And it is also a traier attachment for the forage harvester in mohub

Don't work without mods. The dolly has attacherjoint_low and the forage cutters have the regular attacherjoints.
