Anything by the Great Ub Iwerks is most amazing. He rendered every single cell in this animation. A Herculean task and he crafted so many more. He truly doesn't get the credit he so rightfully deserves.
I appreciate this because the main character (Bimbo the dog) has been a famous icon of Fleischer cartoons and a (Golden) Age of animation 'til 1933 when "Talkartoons" was known as "Betty Boop Cartoons." B.T.W. Why Bimbo had to explain to the judge is because Bimbo was driving over the speed limit not by taking a girl off the sidewalk and "insulting" her.
I finally found this years after watching the ending montage to the movie Bamboozled. It's a constant reminder of how things were, and continue to live on in plain sight. If you haven't seen it yet I would suggest you go check it out. Terrence Blanchard did an amazing job on the scores. It's also gives you the history of Mantan Mooreland. Which I suggest looking up the old episode called, "The Lucky Ghost".
Why is this one of the more accurate Uncle Tom's Cabin cartoons... Even though everything is completely out of order. Makes me wish there was an animated movie that actually follows the book. Edit: If they just switched Eliza and Harry (her kid) with Cassy and Emmeline it would be perfect lol.
Columbia Pictures end title variation (predated “Beakman’s World” by over 30 years after this long lost theatrical “🎼Color Rhapsody🎶🎵” cartoon is made) @ 7:11-7:15
I nearly lost it when, the fat blob singer, went right through the floor😆!!!! So now I'm stuck somewhere in-between, hating republican slave owners, even more and relishing, a large stack of pancakes🥞🙄.
