I've got a pair of candles that fit me really well (Ive got difficult feet so I tend to buy what fits and feels good, then fix the color). The concern is that they are light gold silk shoes. Id like to die them a more natural color such as toupe. The other option is to die them navy though Id like to keep them very neutral. Thanks for any advice you can share. I need them for July 19.
@@annedykstra4393 international fabric shoe comes in khaki, which can be found on our website under international fabric shoe die. If that color does not suit the other option is to go navy otherwise you would have to custom mix your color or have a shoe or repair shops might be able to do it for you.
I think I shopped like 30 years ago for makeup! I was filming a yoga video. So glad you still exist. ONE TIP, I wish you filmed bigger even full cell phone size?
Can the deglazer be used to remove paint from silicone phone cases? I want to reuse my phone case and paint something new on it instead of buying new cases everytime I want a new design on it. Thanks in regard!
I bought mine from Amazon and it said in the description that it is wearable and wont crack or peel. I just painted my shoes tonight and will wear them tomorrow to see how it holds up. I will update you tomorrow evening 👍
Does anyone know how to get rid of this gold look? I want to get me a pair of Vans X Shake Junt slip ons but the shiny gold effect makes it look really bad. Please help.
Thanks so much for the helpful video. I had a question though about prepping the shoes and everything. In this video did you prep the shoe before painting on it? I recently just painting on my shoes without prepping or stripping off the factory coating first, will it really make a difference if I didn’t prep them in the first place or will they crack badly? If they will I’m thinking I’m just going to remove the paint and start over so I could prep them before repainting them. Thank you so much if you reply
Looking for some advice. I've painted the front toe of some AirForce shoes with yellow angelus paint. I then finished them with the Matte Acrylic Finisher and I'm looking to change the yellow to a lilac colour. Is this something I can do? I'm conscious of painting on top because of the finisher. Is the only option to use the preparer and deglazer to remove the finisher and paint to then paint on top with lilac? Thanks in advance for any help
I make custom shoes myself and if you paint on top of the matte acrylic finsher, the paint will crack of - so you realy should remove the finisher and the yellow colour and than make it lilac. You can also use acetone to remove everything. I also use acetone to prepare the shoes to get rid of the factory finish.
@@couturelove07xo hi, I did an enormous mistake on some red air force 1 with Angelus paint, what would appen if I use the deglazer on them? I would remove just the colour I painted or I would remove also the red part of the shoes? I'm not sure my English is correct, sorry for it
Pietro Recalcati Hey :) Only the paint should go off and the leather will stay red. I also painted a few AF1s with a black swoosh and prepared it with some acetone before starting to paint and the black color stayed. If you are still not sure about it, take a Qtip and just take tiny part of the color off to see what happens. But as I said, the red part of the shoe shouldnt be affected :) (and no problem with the english - I am german so I think my english isnt the best aswell :D)
@@couturelove07xo hello i m making some custom shoes so i can play basketball in them, do you think if i play in them the paint will come off since i will hit someone elses foot or dropping on the floor and maybe scratch the paint?
