You're a good friend! Very supportive and helpful. I'm year#3 of serious boarding now~. I remember being able to only do the falling leaf on my heels. Boy would that burn the Quads and mess up the day early. Your ski knowledge def helped you grasp the concept. Lean towards the top of the mountain always and 60/40 weight shift to your front foot to make controlling better. Flexed ankles and bent knees. Pre Trip Prep is so important. Maybe 2weeks to a month of SINGLE leg workouts will help Tremendously your first day on the mountain. Proper gear is also key. knee pads and ass pads lol. We all start somewhere. I hope your friend doesn't get discouraged and continues to learn. Enjoy, Shred on, and Stay safe! Love the content!
I was there on Sunday, it was an absolute nightmare. 45min waits for the only 2 lifts open. Trails were overcrowded. I will never return back to this mountain, the new owners destroyed it.
