The video home of the New York Roots Music Association - or as we are better known NYRMA! Follow the exploits of this zany bunch of characters as they journey from one musical space to another. The New York Roots Music Association & Saturday Night Social Club was created by a group of like-minded Long Island, NY musicians who longed for a different way to collaborate and present their music. Our goal is to offer our friends and fans an alternative to the late night bar scene and a chance to reconnect to live music. Each show will feature something special - reworking a classic LP or special theme nights - that will feature some of the most talented musicians in our area. We’ll be paying tribute to the artists that have been major influences in our lives - from all genres. It is from these roots that we have grown - and are still growing.
Holy shit! I never dreamed that anyone could possibly match the power of the original: one of the most amazing performances ever put on vinyl. But these guys did it, jumped right into to the fire and took everybody in there with them. Fantastic!
This song just needs more cowbell. Sorry I could not resist the SNL reference. Seriously, everyone in this band did a great job including both guitarists that play off each other as in the original version.
Nice try but you blew the guitar intro that should be @ 0:30 then lost the licks rhythm adding a beat and dropping beats losing the count before the break and bass detune. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CfjNpgZ4C5Q.htmlsi=jKbhrKZuHh4MDHu2
You guys nailed that song. I can’t stop watching your video. Thank you for posting it. The horns section is spot on. I’m a fan. I hope you guys have more videos. Again, great job!!!
Harry Nilsson just told me that he would appreciate just a mention of who wrote the darn song 'cause Scorsese sure as hell didn't write it, despite the fact that he has made some great films.
