Just a old man that like gaming, mostly fps, and ride my bike. Recently just started with simracing. Have 1 more channel where i mostly work on my bike
Thanks very much for the video! I was just wondering if you can adjust the foot tray to be higher with more angle towards your feet? For example the authentic f1 driving position has your legs straighter and above your butt and I was curious whether you can adjust this setup to be like that?
You can get it a little bit higher, a couple of cm, if use the last hole in tray against frame. But you dont get the height of the playseat formula intellegence or other more high end and more expensive formula seats. Maybe if you do some own modifications in a workshop :)
You can change the angle of the entire column and of the base plate, making it higher or lower. Then, however, the steering wheel either moves further away or closer at the same time. It has no adjustment for height only. But the seat can be adjusted forwards or backwards, as can the pedals
Tack, bra video!
It stands on rubber feet and weighs 27 kg, maybe 29-30 kg with wheelbase and steering wheel mounted. I think you need 2 people to move it around the easiest. It is difficult to get a good hold of by yourself, even if it is not very heavy
Hi man! Can you tell me what is the lenght from the floor to top of your servo base? I have ordered that seat but I am woring because I am Using Family 65 inch tv not screen on the stand
Can you help me measure the distance between four feet? I want to customize a suitable mat~ By the way, it would be nice if it could be closer to the pedal, I'm curious how to adjust the pedal.
No, not that much what i can see. Maybe a couple of centimeters higher than me if you use the last hole in the tray. I guess you could modify it if you are a handyman :). The ones with more true seating position like the Intelligence model is alot more dollars
@@LoudSiren-123 maybe when i get better 😀. Jokes aside, yes it can happen, but cant promise when and if. Have one vid more after this, when I am driving, gameplay not showing tho. Just to show how the seat react when driving and some other adjustments
i can go a little lower before it blocks. But you can also tilt the whole steering column backwards so it gets lower. I also should say i am a short person, only 165 cm
Pedals are Moza SRP and it is load cell. I also have the accessory kit so I have a harder Spring. The steeringwheel is Moza KS. So i am fully Moza kitted 😀
I find it pretty good for the position i sit in. I actually looked what angle Max verstappen had and used as close as him i could see. I could maybe tilt it a little bit more forward so it is not so straight up. The plate is not fixed, it can be adjusted
@@hexfest can the plate go quite flat? Just as the pedals have a angle on them anyway and then with the plate as a angle, it looks like it may be to much or hurt your ankles, I very nearly had this seat on pre order. That was my only question mark on it
@@AndrewFisher-tl3gw I have not tested myself. But you have alot of holes both in the plate and in the flat iron "arms" you secure it with so it should could go alot flatter than i have. I can see if i have time tomorrow and test a little
Hi could you help me and tell me the length please I’d appreciate it greatly from the headrest to where the pedals end as I’ve got a small space for it to fit many thanks
It is 143 cm as i have it adjusted with the seat and pedaltray. But if you adjust it fully out, both pedals and seat, i guess it can go up to estimated 170 cm "ish" . But you can tilt the seat forward when not using it so not the backpart of the seat sticks out. According to Playseat it is 150 cm, but i dont think they count the overhang of the seat when fully extended since you can tilt the seat forward.
Thanks for the reply appreciate it would you say the black frame at the bottom (what the chair slides on )would that measure in total 143cm from the back to the furthest bit on the pedals thank you so much for your help really appreciate it
@@Craig-l7n The bottom frame (the tubing) alone is 142 cm. As I have the pedaltray, it only sticks out 1 cm, but fully adjusted i think the pedaltray sticks out 7-10 cm more
I have a 9 nm wheelbase and i dont notice flex when i am gaming. Only when i force it like in the video. But, i am beginner so maybe i dont have the same feeling as a more experienced player
Hi, I'm interested in buying the Playseat instinct for my son and I would like to know if this seat would be suitable for a person who is 150 cm (59 inches) tall. And if you find it comfortable. Thank you very much.
I am short, i am only 165 cm with short legs and i sit comfortable. With that said, You have to play around a bit with how to place the seat/steering wheel and pedal rack to achieve the best comfort. They state its for people between 120-220 cm . I can sit in it for hours, It can get a little warm on the back but that i guess you get in every seat that is not mesh.
@@falcony31 I am only into formula games right know. Guess its fine for other also even if its not the right position, should sit a little more upright in gt and rally i think. This seat has a fixed position.
Yes it is 34" . It does the job, but it would have been nice with a little larger screen. Dont have the space For a larger screen right now though. When i get the space i think i will get around 40" or above
i like it alot. But as i said in the other comment i dont have any previous experience from other rigs. This is my first rig and i am new to simracing so i guess my opinion is not the best. I dont notice any big flex. This has the same prize as trophy, and i would chose this one before trophy every day in the week :). Trophy is easier to move around i think though.
Hi, Thanks... It is hard for me to make a honest review since this is my first rig ever :) . But i dont notice any big flex in wheelbase when driving. When i try to force it move you can se a little flex. but i guess you can force almost any rig to move. For me it most important not to notice any when i drive. But i guess some more experienced simdriver will review it soon.
