Beyond Differences is dedicated to ending social isolation in middle school. All teens should feel included, valued and accepted by their peers.

Every day in every middle school around the country there are students quietly suffering from an insidious problem: social isolation. When once physical punishment was an acceptable part of childhood, awareness of the toll it took led to a change in our collective values; it is no longer tolerated. Now we seek no less for our children when it comes to their emotional environment.

Beyond Differences is committed to working with parents, teachers and students to create a social movement to ensure that youngsters, regardless of how they differ from one another, have the opportunity to flourish at school.
