This Channel is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of the concepts of human genetics and genomics, in preparation for later application in the context of human development and congenital and acquired disease.
The goals of the channel are for students to:
- Understand gene structure and human genome organization and function. - Appreciate the complexities of gene regulation and epigenetics in normal and disease states. - Understand the basic principles of cytogenetics and how chromosomal abnormalities result in disease. - Recognize familial patterns of inheritance and the role of pedigrees for both classical Mendelian and common disease. - Understand the basis of mutation and genetic variation, and their impact on human diversity and health. - Understand the impact of prenatal and newborn screening on the diagnosis and management of genetic disease. - Understand the genetic basis of normal development and of cancer.
Why all this debate and drama about who is smarter and if Aryans are smarter? Some really have a complex or what? There was once a small guy with a moustache that had similar thoughts and he polluted the world and sadly some are still stuck in his narrative and mindset… We all came out of Africa! If we selectively choose a time in history with our own bias, we are all kinds of people at some point depending upon migration patterns across the globe which was influenced by climate and geography of the time. The only truth is that we all are homo sapiens and hopefully can move away from this tribal mentality that sadly is unproductive and small minded. Understanding the true nature of reality makes us that we all have more in common than we have differences and that we all are connected to the natural world including trees and all living beings… We shall all be better off instead of arguing over mundane divisions of Aryans or non Aryans. There are no superior or inferior beings, only beings of limited intellect or capable of higher thoughts.
The Brahmins in India are foreigners, there are some local Brahmins too, these foreigners are Jews, Greeks, Persians, it is these people who spread dirtyness in the Indian society and they also destroyed Buddhism. In India, fair people are found in all castes, whether Brahmin, tribal, North Indian all of them are mixed, I am a tribal, my mother's skin color is yellow, as far as I have seen, most of the people have white skin color, then yellow
The third one(sculpture)is definitely Indian. By the way, nowadays, have you ever seen someone who is half Indian and half European? I bet in 90 percent of cases, you wouldn't even be able to tell that they are Indian.
Dear Nikolay, I use an issr marker for molecular characterization, I get only one band, which is very weak and faint. What would you recommend for this? Thank you
When using ISSR markers and getting only one faint band, there are several steps you can take to improve your results: 1. Optimization of PCR Conditions Increase DNA Template Concentration: Try using more DNA template in your PCR reaction. Low DNA concentrations can result in weak or no amplification. Optimize Annealing Temperature: Perform a gradient PCR to determine the optimal annealing temperature for your ISSR primers. The incorrect temperature can lead to poor amplification. Increase Primer Concentration: Sometimes increasing the concentration of the primer can result in better amplification. Cycle Number: Increase the number of PCR cycles to ensure adequate amplification, but be cautious of introducing non-specific bands. 2. PCR Reagent Quality Fresh Reagents: Ensure that your Taq polymerase, dNTPs, and other reagents are fresh and properly stored. Additives: You can add PCR enhancers like DMSO or BSA, which can improve the amplification of difficult templates. 3. DNA Quality Purity Check: Verify that your DNA is pure and free from contaminants. Impurities in the DNA can inhibit the PCR reaction. Template Dilution: If the DNA is too concentrated, diluting it might help reduce inhibitors that affect amplification. 4. Gel Electrophoresis Conditions Gel Concentration: Make sure the agarose gel concentration is appropriate for the size of the expected bands. For smaller bands, a higher percentage gel (e.g., 2%) may help with resolution. Loading Dye: Ensure your loading dye does not interfere with the visualization of the band. Sometimes switching to a different dye or reducing the amount can help. 5. Try Different Primers Alternative ISSR Primers: If the current primer is not working well, try different ISSR primers or design new ones. Some primers may not work efficiently with all DNA samples.
Most Indians are brown, and this is due to overpopulation and working in the sun ,as India is closer to equato come to India and work in farms u will se urs colour will change.
Jaats of india suffered a lot in muslim period, we were not allowed to practice hinduism due to which we lost our dharmic culture but we remained loyal to hinduism and never converted. Jai dhanna jaat ❤
Chat gpt sucks with anything genetics related. It’s like a people pleaser you say “these are my g25 coordinates I’m British” and you give it the coordinates it’ll give you like 80% British but then you give the same coordinates, say your Algerian and it’ll say your 80% Algerian
In Israel, Ashkenazi Jews are estimated to make up approximately 30-40% of the Jewish population. Ashkenazi Jews primarily descend from Jewish communities in Central and Eastern Europe. However, exact percentages can vary slightly depending on the source and how mixed ancestry is classified. Sephardic Jews make up around 25-30% of the Jewish population in Israel. This group primarily descends from Jews who lived in Spain and Portugal before the expulsion in 1492 and from communities in North Africa and the Middle East. These figures can vary depending on how mixed ancestry is categorized.
indian is not race or ethnicity it's a nationality india was created 1947 with so many race and ethnicity they create 28 states when india was created in kashmir or near states people are very fair like afgans in middle states people are brown dark brown in down south india peoples are more dark. fair peoples are mainly from Kashmir or near Kashmir states like himachal others
