@@NathanRoberts-d4o I had 50 hours on the top in the first two weeks 🤣 and even if it don't I got a Kawasaki bayou and a Honda 400EX so yeah shut the fuck up and keep riding your little baby bike
I own a CRF 125 and my friend owned a KX 140 and they were the exact same speed wise. He did start to pull a tiny bit at the end but we ran out of road 140 also has a little bit more power off the line but torque wise they’re both ridiculous
A 125cc gy6 , low performance, not for racing, commuter oriented, automatic, conservative tuned scooter, with very conservative cam profiles, goes 60-65 mph stock. That's a pos scooter with a smaller engine going a full 15 mph faster than a very nice race bike. Because motocross tracks aren't the salt flats, they are just stopping, turn, accel, stop, turn, jump , repeat. So the moral of the story is top speed is a poor indication of a dirt bikes performance, or it's potential.
Yeah because the gear ratio is meant for torque and acceleration not top end speed. Now if you rearrange the gear ratio on that that bike easily could hit 150 mi an hour I know this because I've done it with mine
Wow the things you forget after 26 years! My first vert bike was a Dyno Gt. 🎉❤ I remember the tread was GT on the tires. Full 360 bars and everything. That was around 96-98 can’t remember but loved the bike. I remember it costing $200 which in the 90s was a decent chunk of change for a kid.
