Me, aka FitzActual aka Jordan Fitzgerald is the owner and operator of military fitness and lifestyle brand, Warfighter Athletic.
I am here to simply share my journey as I transition from the military back into the civilian sector as a business owner of a pretty cool brand.
Having served as a grunt and then as a SOF operator it is now time to expand the global footprint of Warfighter Athletic in order to achieve my personal mission of creating a bad ass brand that inspires, drives and motivates you to live your best life so that you may discover the power of believing in yourself.
These videos are my story, these videos are a no BS look into what its actually like transitioning from the military back into the civilian sector and what it takes to build an international brand.
I'm joining the army as an infantryman next year. The idea of deployments is a big reason why it interests me so much. really hoping for some good action, Im wanting to help & save people that need it!
So Bang on mate... found this late... judith Collins needs to watch this and fucking listen to the reality of our top class army that has a great past reputation! From x QAMR
This was a great insight, I am currently in the recruitment process for the NZDF now after deciding I needed a career of purpose and a real physical and mental challenge. This has been a great reality check of the beuracratic obstacles that will be in my way. Thanks again mate and all the best with your company and future endeavours.
Just ordered my 14” a couple days ago, gets here Saturday, LMAO I don’t even have the M4 yet. As soon as I saw the 14” barrel for sale I immediately purchased it (over $1000.00 😬), I remember a few years ago it was 888 dollars, very weird price. I had one, the FDE Version (got so lucky when I found a Benelli factory made FDE 7 round magazine tube, would have looked horrible with a black version or trying to match it to the factory FDE), had it all fixed up ($3500 into it 😬) then eventually had to get rid of it. I knew the second one I bought would definitely be a 14”, although (still have to talk with a lawyer) I plan on keeping the buttstock off and just running it as a pistol shotgun instead, hopefully meaning no tax stamp needed. Probably a lot easier to find the collapsible butt stock, then it will be to find the 14”, if the time comes where we no longer need a tax stamp to own a SBS. Man I can’t wait to hold that 14” barrel in my hands, and whisper sweet nothings to it, waited 6 years to find one in stock.
Most autoloader shotguns need at least 1235 FPS ammo for proper cycling. If you’re shooting low recoil ammo, such as those just for sporting clays, probably will not cycle. You can find number 7 or 8 shot with 1300 FPS at Walmart.
That sucks. When I first got mine I wanted to see the point at which the m4 would likely fail. I loaded alternating bird shot, 3 inch magnum, bird shot, 3 inch magnum and it cycled everything.
Nice shotgun. I have owned one of the Benelli M2 sporting versions since 2008. I remember buying it in Christchurch back in the day. Never wanted to upgrade. They are great. Really like the recoil operated action. Strong, lite and reliable
The leftie culture in NZ (Aotearoastan) has taken over, Aunty Cinda and her cronies want to turn the once proud NZDF into a civil aid service for disaster management. I'm hearing you on the deployment thing. I was on Long Look and had the chance to deploy on one of the first pushes into Iraq in 03. There was an Aussie attached to the same unit, he had his third country approval back within 24hrs and had DPDU (desert Auscam) being sent over express. I had to wait two weeks whilst doing the lead up trg only to be denied without even a reason being given. Suffice to say it was a decision point for my 717 and into the ADF I went, I never looked back and wished I went earlier. NZ needs to start focusing on the same thing your allies are........i.e conventional warfare against a near peer.
