I’m so glad we’re staying in Otsuka! This town is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend staying at one of the hotels next to Otsuka station. Plenty of parks close by to get a workout in, and very walkable/runnable areas. And Honestly, I’m starting to realize every town in Tokyo is gorgeous. Can’t go wrong with Otsuka though.
can you make a video where in Japan can i buy an Arcade cabinets and stuff. also if you have suggestions where to buy Japanese arcade cabs online... i only bought one in arcade1up but most of their cabs are retro american.. i want to know if there is alternative for arcade1up in japan.
Thanks to you! - to tell the truth, most of people in Tokyo live in houses like this, in very quiet places. Even close to the famous and noisy Shibuya station (about 10 minutes walking) you have very calm residential areas like this one. Hope you can come to visit some day!
This is brilliant! I think this is one of the smoothest footage I have seen off of a Pocket 3. Well done mate 🙌🏼 Is this the default mode or you did any color grading?
defiantly the 3C, Classic, Cool, Car. and also saying do not scan is just you saying SCANNN IT, the eager to do it😭. Peacefull neighbourhood too. Another awesome upload too👌💯
I. Have lived in Japan for 8yrs now. I never knew about this place. To be honest I usually don’t go past Nakano on the Chou line unless I have business. I’ll check this place out, but for me emulation is the way to go.
It's a perfectly fine option, of course, specially in any of the excellent chinese games consoles being sold in Aliexpress. Checkout the RG35XXSP - it's really fantastic. Anyway, just for a walk it is always fun to stroll around Akihabara.
@@WalkinginJapan without question I’m subscribed, Japan is undiscovered country in so many ways. I find something new to love about this country every day. I still have a ton of old game consoles so even though emulation saves space, there are physical copies I like to have. The last console I brought was the retron 5. I did go to the store in the video yesterday. I picked up Hagane for the super famicon.
@@WalkinginJapan yes I do. But now I use a insta360 selfie stick and have the camera/sensor a bit further away from my hand to remove the micro shakes. But for z axis bounce it comes down to walking skill (and how much time you have) or you get a z axis stabiliser.
I was in Japan in 2016 but I was hoping for this super potato to get better I guess their still the same they have no new releases only old games that I can hack and get for free
Well, they're popular exactly because of that, old games. People who like these games like to use original hardware, cartridges... this is what this place is about.
@@WalkinginJapan yeah they like to blow in the cartridges back and forth or need to put another cartridge on top of another cartridge is a brilliant way to play video games I’m surprised Nintendo Switch cartridges aren’t having that problem their smaller when Cd 💿 came no more issues the games were weak back then the oldest consoles I can say that were great had arcade experience was the sega Dreamcast and sega Saturn 🪐 original Xbox PS2 that shouldn’t of got resident evil games they weren’t ready if resident evil 4 was released on the PS3 first it would of been a lot better capcom is just in a hurry they couldn’t wait
I think i know as to why i enjoy your videos more than other. 1. They are short, but long enough to be pleasing 2. your shots give off this sense of purity and just simplicity (enjoy the walk without and sink in the moment). well that i believe, im not that good with explaining, so in short i just wanna say, you're uploads are just magnificent and comfortable to watch
Thanks to you for walking. I'll think how to add some weather info, need to find a way to do that without investing much more time in editing, since unfortunately I'm not living off these videos. Thanks for your suggestion!
@@WalkinginJapan shouldn't be hard. Just drop them in description. Won't break the editing time and neither will the video be cluttered, Or you can just add a small text in beginning for 5 seconds with date and temp and time.
@@WalkinginJapan Bueno.
@@WalkinginJapan The sound of taking a picture. Step, step, step, step, stops, takes a photo *click*, repeat. I loved walking around the city at this time of night, so it was nice to see it filmed. But the sound, or rather the LACK of sound at these hours make it very peaceful to me.
Great, can take walking tours to nearby hotels from the different exits would be great! Need to know if there are elevators nearby or do we have to carry our lugguages up the stairs. Arigato Gozaimas.
