Hey! I happened to catch that comedy routine of yours HBO Max. I have so many questions but I'll just limit myself to saying that probably it would of worked for a very specific audience. Like......children POWs for instance. Your presence on that stage had nothing to do with comedy. You were just prancing on that stage saying random things. This would be a feature of a person with very little self awareness. I mean.....Duck TV is funnier than you. With what you did on that stage, even Hanna Gatsby would cringe. And she's top 5 unfunniest women comics out there.
So, the joke is....She's purposely not funny. Do you get it?? She's intentionally not funny. That is the joke on the audience and only the most intelligent of Progressive minded humans understand the joke. Pure genius, right?
Ok, so I've watched several of her videos and I'm convinced she is adding a laugh track. I'm sure there are a couple genuine laughs from the audience but most of what we are hearing is fake... look at the audience, in the front row you can see the backs of the audience members. Nobody is moving! We hear the laughs but nobody's body or head moves at all... our bodies and our heads move when we laugh! If you watch her other videos you can see the camera quickly pan the audience from behind. We can't see there faces but we can see there bodies and the back of there heads... the vast majority of the audience isn't moving and they aren't clapping! Even though we hear a lot of clapping. I can tell when there is a genuine laugh because you can see those couple people moving their heads up and down as they laugh. There is definitely a laugh track added to supplement the audiences laughter and make it seem like the whole crowd is laughing. Watch the audience at 3:57. You'll notice this in all her videos except the HBO special, whoever was in charge of that special didn't add any laugh track...
Everytime i try to give Megan Stalter a chance, she actually never tells a joke and is just awkward, weird and rude. It feels like its not even intentional with the shitty comedy she makes, shes just bad by design.
